I wonder what his reserve actually was.
Certainly he could not have been serious about the ten thousand dollar BIN. What did a DD Dev cost brand new at the systems inception?

No clue, but it doesn't seem like this Earthbound 3 stuff will ever get anywhere...

I've read through all of this topic a while back and I'm not completely sure that I remember everything. What exactly is the issue at hand? Is it just missing parts or has he actually gotten up to the missing IPL loader?

    Barc0de,

Try buying this!!! (make a reasonable bid).

This is a full set and with a win98 system we could get a DD dev unit working!

I contacted the seller of that auction and he is a bit off base with his pricing. His reserve was set at $5000 and the $10,000 BIN was serious. He says he's willing to take offers, but I don't think he will accept anything that is in any way a reasonable price. I'm trying to talk some sense into him, but I doubt it will help us out. What do you all think is a reasonable, if not a bit high price for something like this?

I'll buy it if he's willing to come down or if we can find another. I'm just getting sick of seeing this go nowhere and am finally at the point where I'll throw time and money at it.

While we're at it if anyone is in regular contact with Coreycorey ask him what he would sell the disks for.

I'm still around. The last 64DD Dev system on ebay sold for $590. And it was loose. This last large auction has everything necessary to play DD disks from what I can tell. The seller will go as low as $2500. I just bought a new car yesterday so I don't have a spare $2500 kicking around. I've purchased a Dreamcast Dev kit and a PSX Debug from the seller in the past. Both at really reasonable prices. But this is the largest N64 Dev kit I've seen so far. All that it's missing is a Flash Writer.

I may ask the seller if they will part with the Partner 64 cartridge and PCI card seperately. But if I was the seller I wouldn't want to split it up.

All I need right now is a Partner 64 cartridge and the PCI card to hook it up to a computer. I'm willing to spend a couple hundred dollars to get them. I think this is reasonable. I just haven't seen one for sale other than the one for $400 or so a while back.

Thanks for the update corey. It's good to see that you're still around. I'd gladly buy a complete 64DD Dev, but $2500 is just to much right now and I'm not sure if it's really worth that much other than the time savings of not having to hunt down individual parts.

If you don't mind saying, what is your total estimated cost for all of your 64DD dev items thus far?

:/ I really should get off my ass and get a Dev DD unit. Maybe I can get a way to get it working via v64jr units.

Yet still I would need a blue DD disk with something on it to verify it will boot the games.

I just picked up a Partner 64 kit. So I should have all the hardware necessary. I have no software except the IPL4rom file.

If anyone has any software for sale please let me know.
