Too much now. Shipping was at $90 to me. $30+$90 seemed okay, but now it's too high for an Xbox with a sticker :p

One of my best mates moved to Seattle and I am tempted to bid and have her pick it up (ship in US). I could split the material up and sell the titles to pay for the shipping back to the UK. Hmmmmm!

It's not just an Xbox with a sticker though is it, it's a PROTOTYPE sticker and that makes a significant difference to a collector.

I hope someone here on AG gets it. ;-)

Can someone provide me with a scan of said sticker? I want my xbox to be worth it's original selling price because it features a sticker ;)

Er, okay let me qualify the last statement. A 'genuine' sticker is of significant interest to collectors lol.

You missed the whole homemade development kits about 8 or 9 months ago (possibly longer). Where someone on eBay was claiming to have rare Nintendo & Microsoft development units. He was taking retail units apart, removing bits, adding in parts that didn't correspond to the kits in the slightest (such as Dell HDD) and then putting very similar (poor) stickers on them with things like "GameCube Dev unit" on them. It really was a half-arsed attempt at conning people into buying junk!

The fact of it was that he initially got away with it, sold a pile of crap onto unwitting eBayers who then realised they had bought crap and then reposted it on eBay. For about 3 months this stuff was just floating around unwanted. The number of 'is this genuine?' posts it generated was silly!

However, it does just go to show if you make something slightly different, people will be interested.

If shipping wasn't so expensive to Australia I'd get it.

What a complete Numpty he was

Made a few £, but then enough people knowing about such stuff all talked and he probably still has it lying around somewhere
