I'll keep checking your auction diidydonn.

My ebay name is andrew-30 so Hopefully if P.N.03 and sonic adventure 2 are still there tommorow morning i will definatly take them.

I will skip the gamecube, its very tempting but right now i have no need for a 2nd Dol-001 model at the moment.

unless you have a test or dev kit it is useless. Needs them to power up and to get any games on it.

Go on a couple of those clinical trials and 2 months from now you'll come back glowing (possibly even literally) and with sufficient funds to purchase what is actually the most expensive Tool I've seen in a couple of years. Even when they were harder to obtain, they were rarely as much as that. Now that Japan Yahoo seems to be dedicated to flogging them, UJ and others have managed to obtain them for a fraction of that price, and I mean decimal point style fractions! I think that seller read 1 or 2 sentences about the Tool, read it's original price of $19k and thought, well, let's see now, £2.5k ought to be reasonable

That guy clearly had a few bills he needs to pay, but I hope nobody bites it as that's waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy outta sight daddy-o! :eek:h:

problem is, all you need to find is someone with too much money and not enough sense and he will be parted with his cash!

Actually, it did have the OE HDD - but it certainly wouldn't appeal to collectors that wanted a complete kit. And whilst the PAL linux kit is still available new, it is no longer sold with keyboard/mouse/hdd/network adaptor - just the discs & the cable, albeit for a more reasonable 31.50 Euros. Here in the US, complete NTSC linux kits have been ebaying for ~$150, though one recently went for $102, another for $295.

Being the oddball that I am, I'm actually looking for the PAL linux kit (wondering if it'll work on a Test unit, or if I'd need a PAL PS2 unit, proper)...

I was just pipped at the post by £2 or £3 for that PAL PS2 Test, but the annoying thing is I ended up bidding against a mate of mine! He never mentioned je was going for it, otherwide I'd have stepped back.

That's the one downside with auction sniping - whilst its tactically wise, you're sometimes shooting at your mates... :/ Still, all's fair in love & ebay....
