I thought DK64 still had problems if not patched also will the V1 see any speed benefits with new FW as well, or only the v2? damn you early adoption
I don't want to speak for him and I may be wrong, but I thought it he said last time I talked to him that it would work on v1 as well, but would require a firmware update on v1. He may say something different though.
I got a v2 and love it. Bought the last one te site had in stock. great work krikzz, looking forward to being able to update firmware via USB.
actually usb not for firmware update. carts v2 load firmware via SD, on each startup, so for firmware update just need to put new OS into sd cart (cuz firmware binary for v2 embedded into OS file). so may be you even not notice when your cart will get new firmware
My mistake, I just meant that I am glad firmware update is so easy. great product, thank you for all of your dev time
Well, thats for the V1. If KRIKzz can fix the 6103 games in his bootemu (assuming thats where the issue is) then a V2 + 6105 will give you 100% compat I'm very glad to hear that V1 will see speed boost too
Hello krikzz a friend of mine just got his ed64v2 he has solderd in a 7105A CIC but he only gets a red led and nothing else. Do you have any idea? EDIT: No SD Inserted & soldered like this PIC
need to short small jumper to enable 6105 mode. but anyway, i recomend to use 6102/7101, at least untill i not fixed boot emulator. compatibility with 6102 beter right now
Thank you for this very quick answer! EDIT: I want to let you know, that everthing works flawlessly now!
I have both ED64 (PCB 1.0 and PCB 2.0). Do you plan to add the functionality to record games without using the controller pack? Thanks Igor Carlos Sappa from Argentina PS: I kept the secret about the new ED64 2.0 PCB PS2: Thanks for so many hours of fun
The wrong thread for sure, but the case is nice, the color is really cool. Wich game was in it before?
