sram save failure hi, the new os 1.21 and the bootloader v3 are great except that i'm no longer able to save or restore sram savegames i've tried it with zelda - ocarina of time and mario golf there is still a rom-named .sra file with 32k each i can't say if it's corrupt or just not correct loaded only that it's there and that no savegame is selectable after I started the rom. it worked very well with os 1.13 yesterday ^^ and eep savegames are still working cheers, saturnu
What are the proper dimensions of creating wallpapers? I tried creating a 640x480 image and now my background is completely screwed up. Oops!
I found a bug in OS 1.22: Files with .n64 extension cannot be added to favorites. cheers, Carlos Sappa
it is not a bug. i never not heard about .n64, so only .z64, .v64, .rom and .nes was associated with rom images
Sory Igor, my mistake, in some places you find n64 extension when unzip the files. I'm going to rename the extension Thanks for your support
hi, can someone please give me a hint, how to get the wallpaper-function working? i created several bitmap files with photoshop and gimp. 640*480 and 16 bit colors but if i push 'a' on a bmp file nothing happens and if i press 'start' the loading bar is showing up for a second and the screen is going black. in krikzz video the user is asked if he would like use that file as a wallpaper. it seems to me that the ed wants to load the bmp file like a rom or at least don't really know that it is a bitmap. that could mean that there is a problem with my bmp-files. perhaps someone would be so nice to upload a working wallpaper so that i could test it? WALL\test.bmp FW 2.21 OS 1.22 System type: PAL everdrive 64 v2 cheers, saturnu
It must be 640 x 480 BMP saved as 16-bit (5:5:5:1 RGB hi-color). Many graphics programs do not support saving in this format since most BMP are 8-bit or 24-bit. If you PM the image I can convert for you with the image converter software I have. EDIT: After re-reading. You must highlight BMP you want as Wallpaper and hit C down. Not start like a ROM.
