Hmm. Thats one reason I got bored with Two Worlds. I extincted almost every bad guy in that game. I think Mercenaries respawn though. At some point someone puts a hit out on you, and then you meet mercs every now and then. Pretty sure creatures respawn, too. I remember leaving a Dungeon with like 3 Mirelurks RIGHT AT THE ENTRANCE. BTW, did anyone notice that Mirelurks and Daedroths from Oblivion share the same exact animations? Theres a ton of that stuff going on in Fallout 3. I wonder what would happen if someone was to put Oblivion creatures into Fallout 3? It shouldn't be a problem, except for when in VATs mode, and how they die in criticals, like with heads coming off, etc. I thought about making a simple mod where I import a Daedroth and its animations and calling it a Radigator. If crabs can turn into crab men Gators can too! I heard somewhere that Deathclaws from Fallout 3 share the Daedroths model, actually, and they tweaked it a bit to its current shape, and added horns. I saw a Dead one and I have to say, it looks like they were right. Still, its one awesome and deep game.
The game just starts to peak off and get badass as fuck(you get the power armor) then your randomelly thrown into the credit screen. its pretty depressing. I was upset when it happened.
Thank god I'm tired and couldn't be bothered reading the whole thread . Looking forward to getting my lunchbox tomorrow :icon_bigg.
It does, Bethesda just didn't make mod tools yet. Theres a lot of people who hate how Bethesda "Treated" Fallout, like people on the NMA forums, and 90% of the mods and crap coming out are coming from members on their forum. Its nice that they're so dedicated, but I remember someone trying to help them on camera issues who got flamed for this response: "An isometric camera wouldn't work in a game with fully 3d areas because the ceiling and walls can't turn invisible, and enemies you cant see would be shooting you" Followed immediately by "You're new here, right?" I killed a Brotherhood of Steel outcast with cool power armor, but I couldn't wear the armor. For some reason he was running around the parking lot of Super-Duper mart.
lol, yeah. i just 940 from playing NBA Street today. It's actually a pretty fun game with crazy dunks and stuff. I also tried playing Bionicle Heroes but that was just straight painful. EDIT: With Fallout I should be able to break 30,000 gamer points. Which I'm almost certain is better than living with a million super models.
If you do it without using bad games or sports games, you actually get to live with a milliion super models. If you cheat, you have to live with Cliffy B.
I've played Fallout since Wasteland on the C64 and i think of Fallout 3 as a really great game. Bethesda did a really good job bringing Fallout to 3D - the game looks simply awesome. Gameplay is great and well balanced. For sure it's not the Fallout as i loved it once in 2D - but it captures the spirit of Fallout and its atmosphere very well. I've played the game for approx. 15 hours, for a great part completing side-quests. I don't think of the game as short or anything - there is a lot to do all around. But there are some things that could have been better: - i'm missing an on-screen mini-map - too much gore and violence - item discriptions are missing - this was one of the strenghts of the series! - enemies are missing "character" - there's no difference e.g. between Raiders and Super Mutants (besides Super Mutants keeping body parts in bags and Raiders having them nailed to the wall)
the only game i'm ashamed to have 1000/1000 in is Avatar. i actually do enjoy the sports games. just because you don't like them doesn't mean their bad. so back on up! ps I miss you... are you mad at me? We never play Uno anymore... was it something I said? Come back...
I want to play this game, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $60. May be a rental down the road. Sadly there is just too much good stuff coming out to even think about playing this game.
I give everyone shit about sports games. The only sports games you should play is NFL Blitz and Mutant League! I get my 360 back on the 6th. Right now i'm passing time with Crysis Warhead.
I think the PC version would be better, because modding gives it a longer lasting appeal. I think the Master Chief armor mod from Oblivion would look cooler in Fallout 3.
If I get Fallout 3 I'm going to get it for PC. Might as well. Not like theres anything good coming out for PC for a long fucking time.
Well, Dawn of War 2 looks promising. You're right though, there aren't very many games coming out for a while for PC that I'm interested in. I kind of wanted to try out Warhammer Online or World of Warcraft, but I hear nothing but bad things about MMOs. Plus, monthly fees are a major turn off.
Yeah avatar is a shame jon. But sports games...yeah sure. why not. They sell well because people like'em... psst, you should come over and we'll play that robot football game for NES again.
