Beat Bloody wolf for tg-16 a few days ago. Really fun action game. lots of twitch action, and man that final boss was tough. Also beat streets of rage 3 about a week ago. Got the good ending by using Zan and just doing is dash attack
Lets see been on a tear since we have a bunch of snow here: Phoenix Wright (DS) Zelda a Link Between 2 Worlds (3DS) Tomb Raider 2013 (PC) Batman Arkham Origins (PC) Walking Dead Season 1 and 400 Days (PC) Super Mario 3 (NES) Dr. Mario (NES) Super Mario 3D World (WiiU) Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)
I completed Outlast on PS4, the scariest game I have played, I was playing in the dark with the lights out using a headset so I hear every little noise, made me jump a few times , I have also completed Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition on PS4, I got all the trophies for the PS3 version and now working on the trophies for PS3 They are pretty decent games and I picked them up for free on PS+
I finished Tales of Symphonia which I thought was pretty good, however Tales of Phantasia is a far better game
2 days ago: Resident Evil 3 Nemesis - DC Today: Dino Crisis - DC (What a pain in the @$$! This game's puzzles are so annoying and the lack of ammo makes the game all the more difficult!) Tomorrow I will be attempting to complete the original Resident Evil, that despite me being a huge fan of the series, I have never completed the game due to its difficulty. (Them hunters... grrr). I will be completing it on Saturn, BTW.
I just finished Curse of Monkey Island last night. I enjoyed it, though I wish I'd played it on the regular difficulty rather than Mega Monkey difficulty. The humor is great, just like all of the Monkey Island games. Despite what some people might say, my favorite in the series will probably always be Escape From Monkey Island. But they're all great. Next I'm going to play through Black Mesa again. Still no Xen, but I can enjoy the first section for now.
This winter I played alot of pc games. I beat: Dead Island Fallout New Vegas Section 8 Anna Extended Civ 4 For consoles: Operation Racoon City (ps3) Wish I had more time to play. Currently working on Skylanders and Dear Rising 3 on xbox one. Also playing 7 Days to Die on PC.
Since I last posted in this thread, I've finished: Adventures to Go! (PSP) Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (DS) Ryse: Son of Rome (Xbox One) Sudeki (Xbox)
Finally got around to playing GTAV, finished the story mode after a couple of days play. Was a big eye opener for me as I hadn't played any next gen games (retro gamer at heart), couldn't believe just how much attention to detail there is nowadays. EDIT: Also, being a retro gamer, I found the game *incredibly* easy, at no point did I feel like I was being challenged, but I suppose that's just how AAA titles are nowadays
Just got done playing through Parasite Eve 2 for the first time in years, actually like it a lot more now than what I did years ago.
MadWorld - Wii Wanted to check this out as im a huge fan of Platinum. While the game looks and sounds great, gameplay and controls are kind of lacking.
Beaten Tony Hawk 2 times this week.Trying to complete the game with beating it with every character.I'm playing the Dreamcast version. So fun!
Past week or so I have done: Zelda: Link Between Worlds - Got all but the gaint coocoo (which is basically impossible) and the street pass challanges New Super Mario 2 - got all 5 shiny stars, just need to get 1 million coins for the special intro screen Super Mario 3d Land - Beat the main game, am half way through special world 7. Probably have about 15 star coins I missed that I need to go back and get. Took 2 weeks off between my old job, and my new job I start next Monday... When I am done with Super Mario 3d Land, I will probably play through Zleda: Minish cap again. Tried to do Need For Speed: Most Wanted, but my softmodded XBox dont want to read burnt disks...
^^ :friendly_wink: (get away from the keyboard alt persona!) ... not to derail subject but if the disk drive reads retails as usual (and the console is modded, naturally) just expand/decrypt the retail disks through the xbox via FTP and rebuild it as an 'xiso' (still iso but specific to xbox) .... you could get just plain xiso's and write them to disk as is, it's the only way i could get ANY of my xbox mods experiences to work! (did a madmab neogenesis/segaCD compilation til the host they were shared took a shit and lost the data of MANY users) .... ... as for the subject, just finished Z-Out with ONE life... not easy when you have walking kinder-egg dudes face-diving from above! (and the stationary heads that cave-in when their shot) .... never did it's predecessor X-Out with a single vessel... too hard! ... next up, a shit load of **** and a test of reflexes on... ....before necks are broken, stomachs are turned and chunks FLY across the room!
I just "finished" Black Mesa. Technically I didn't finish it, because the game itself isn't finished yet. But I played through the part that's been released, anyway. It's the second time I've done that. I'm still impressed by what they were able to do with the Source engine. In some ways, I'd say it's even more impressive than most of Valve's work on Source. I just wish they'd release Xen already. I'm not sure what I'm going to play next, I haven't given it much thought yet.
Spent some time last week playing through Mega Man 1-8. Now I'm torn between playing Mega Man and Bass or Mega Man 9 next...
I just finished Castlevania Order of Ecclesia for the umpteenth million time for the DS. I got to admit, I do love the soundtrack to the game and seeing as I've had some spare time due to the rain and my computer not wanting to work properly (at least on Windows), I decided to throw it in my 3DS. Sometime soon, I'd like to finish A Link Between Worlds. I've already beaten the game but some of the heart pieces are just a straight pain to earn. I love a challenge but that baseball mini-game. Aside from that, I just need the Bee Badge and those so I can safely say that I'm done playing it.
