I really enjoyed V but I found it very easy. Didn't suffer from any glitches or bugs in my play through. The open world is very very impressive but for some reason I found myself more inclined to explore in IV.
Just wrapped up the single player campaign for SPLINTER CELL BLACKLIST (X360) I love the Splinter Cell series, so this one didn't disappoint. Now on to the MP portions
Darkness II for PC Amazing game, one of the best in the world. Tried to finish Vendetta in single player but bosses are to hard to beat them alone. How people play such fast shooters with gamepads is beyond me...
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES) Wow, this is a first! I managed to complete the game without dying and having to rescue a turtle. And there was no cheating involved either, just a lot of tedium.
Dragon's Crown for Vita, completed with all characters. Poor Vita. My favorite game of the year till now. Let's see what Ys: Memories of Celceta is going to do.
Tomb Raider(2013) for PC (haven't bought any DLC yet) Easily one of the top 5 games/game series I've ever played. The other tops would be games in the Half Life series, the first Red Faction(Didn't like Red Faction 2 and haven't played Guerrilla or Armageddon), Far Cry Instincts Predator(tried replaying and couldn't get into it).. Radical Rex for Sega Genesis and the Killzone series(overall) I'm so looking forward for my PS4 Killzone Launch Bundle to get here. HURRY UP, SONY! I Still haven't played KZ Liberation(PSP) and KZ Mercenary(PS Vita) Also, I played a few hours of BioShock Infinite for PC and could not get into it at all. But I did like the steampunky setting.
I just finished GTAV a couple of days I ago. I really enjoyed it. I'm thinking about starting Tomb Raider (2013). I've got soo many games to try and finish before the next gen. :/
Just completed EarthBound on a SNES emulator on a DS Lite. Thoroughly enjoyable! I little peeved that my SRAM got wiped on my SNES when I was level 40... figured I'd start again with a backup plan! (i.e. Being able to backup the SRAM!)
Shadow of the Colossus HD Beat it when It came out, so this was my second run. It still good, but its amazing the first time through. And the ending is so good, so many feels.
I did a full playthrough of Earthworm Jim 2 on the Genesis a couple days ago. I've been playing this game for about 18 years now, so I'm pretty good at it. Nevertheless, I think this past playthrough was my best one ever. I wasn't timing it, but it was probably my fastest playthrough ever, and I only used 1 continue. I think it was my most efficient run, if that makes any sense. It's such a great game, I have to play it all the way through at least a couple times a year. Side note: technically, the SNES version is better, but I think it's the Genesis's sound chip that makes me keep coming back to that version. I also beat Metal Slug the other day. That's a great game as well, though pretty tough. The later versions were even harder, but the first one isn't exactly easy either. It's very fun, though.
I ended up playing Tomb Raider (2013). I finished it with a 85% completion percentage. I really had a great time with the game. It looked great and it played amazing. The cover system is very good, and unbelievably fluid. I highly recommend picking it up.
Just beat Fable. Never played any games in the series before, nor had I really seen any game play of it prior to my start of it about a month ago. Overall, it was enjoyable, and in a weird way it made me think of it as a Secret of Mana play style in a 3D world that looks something like World of Warcraft. I can see why people liked this game back in the day of its release, & always remembered people mentioning the good and evil system, which is definitely cool.
