Games that don't need sequels

He's already cozy with another hack Ryuhei Kitamura he's made some pretty aweful movies. How he got to do a Godzilla I'll never know. Versus only had it's moments of cleverness and Azumi was so cookie cutter it was unwatchable.

No wonder he and Kojima are friends.

 

Godzilla Final Wars was retarded. I mean, it ended alright, but holy shit, everything leading up to it had nothing to do with Godzilla.

The series prior to the release of Final Wars was excellent though.

I was thinking the same, but it wouldnt be a sequel, more like a remake



Plus I can see it being more detailed and edgy, after all it looks like what Sonic2 would've been in a high-end arcade or workstation of the day.

SF2HD on the other hand has an anime-style animation more in touch with today's style, and not early 90s anime like the game was, or the animated movie.

NEVERHOOD! you said it Brother! That game is one of my favourite games of all time - I even went as far as to buy Skull-monkeys for the PSX so I can play as Willy (as opposed to with Willy)!

The music by Terry S.Taylor and the amazing Clay worlds were original and breath-taking indeed. If a sequel would ever arise, I hope they d stick to the original techniques instead of opting for CG.


I can't understand why everyone left out Grim Fandango though, that game still hits as one of the best Point n Clicks.

Larry, The Flight of the Amazon Queen, the 2D Simon games and Maniac Mansion/Tentacle (and I wouldnt mind a sequel on Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis) need some sort of homeage.

I d love to see any of these on the VC, or the PS3 , using either a real mouse or other pointing device.
