Pictures of home. Takapuna, Auckland. Takapuna Beach View from Mount Victoria, down the road. Not a great spot for games and arcades though, they're all over the shore
sven> lol @ "feskekörka" xD We used to have a boat nightclub down here to but they moved it down to Malmö (yay! that boat was really nasty and just attracted "fjortisar"). Is the weather as crappy up there as it is here? Thunder/lightings all the time and rain >=/
I'm still shocked that no ones posted a picture of their genitals here yet... 'your area?' [/immature]
if i would've know that it's called "area" too, i would've posted one in an instance...but now, the joke is dead
Every Sunday during the summer there's a beach party which is about a 20 minute walk from my apt, basically grab a blanket and some beers/wine/what have you. I thought it may be a drum circle of 10 - 20 peeps. I was wrong On the way there The Beach Was a lot of fun  This is Toronto, Ontario CANADA
Winter -> cold temperature + weekday = no one at the beach, including women. But honestly, i took this pic after two days of heavy rain. I guess no one thought the weather would improve that much so fast. And even if it's winter, it's only cold at night really. But i promise i'll try to get some "better" pics asap.
Wanted to revive this thread because I always enjoyed seeing all those pics of others homes. There was a hell lot of lightning going on for the last two hours or so. I took dozens of shots, but only two were actually capturing something worthwhile. The thing is, my camera has a maximum shutter time of approx. 1second, so it requires a lot of timing ability and ... luck. I'm really looking forward to my new camera which will be my present for graduation in about a month ) Will take care that it has a LONG shuttertime, I just love night shots and experiments with lightning. Not so really possible with my current model (canon g1).
was the sky really purple like that? or was it 'enhanced'? either way it looks awesome. taking pictures of lightning without the right equipment is a joke!
I didn't change anything, the sky actually was as purple as on the picture but only for maybe a quarter of a second. 1/4s earlier it was rather blue, before that white, ... you get the idea: chronologic steps of a colorful lightning.
Took a couple of shots of today's rather nice sunset. I just love my new camera (EOS 450D), will get a 200mm lense as soon as I can afford it ^^ My car in the foreground, the small village far away is where I live. Crossing in a nearby small city. Again, the crossing. Long light exposure, apparently. The city close to the horizon is Hannover (Hanover) where I used to go to school ect. Freeway (A2). Railtrack close to the A2 And another photo of that railtrack. The train came just on time. Hannover glowing far away. Actually I didn't plan that one could see the stars, nice unintentional incidence.
This one is awesome, loved it! Oh, btw, do you have a higher res version of this pic? It would make one hell of a wallpaper!
