I know this has been done before, but a lot of those pictures are now gone so I thought I'd start a new thread. I had the day off, so after taking a delivery to a customer I took some pictures. http://www.combobento.com/photos/KC/index.html Thumbs lead to big pictures so beware.
I'll take some tomorrow, and then some in a months time once I've moved. Some more steadster specials coming straight from my window soon! (see the previous thread and how I was too lazy to go outside to take pictures)
Boy... it's been a huge while since I told you guys I would take pictures of Guadalajara... and I haven't gotten around to doing so. I'll try to do it as soon as possible. But believe me, you might not be missing out on much. There's really cool areas of the city, but most of it has lost its beauty with the years. I'll try and take pictures of the "black market" areas... and if I don't get killed doing so, you might like them.
Pics from and around Nashville I'll post some digi pics soon but here are some pics from Nashville and the surrounding (within a short drive) areas. Above is the park just down the street.
Hmm...this thread will give me a use for my never-touched digital camera. I'll try to remember to grab it when I'm home for the weekend. My campus is ludicriously pretty.
Hey kstyle25 that looks like a nice area. Have not been there before, but my folks have. I just got back from Chicago and will post a few pictures of the view we had from the hotel. It's too bad that's all the pictures I could take... damn convention!
last summer I made some pictures from the 'Isarauen'. That's the area around the river Isar (Germany, Bavaria) where I live. click the thumbnails and enjoy the nice landscape ;-) unfortunately I have only a handy camera :-(
The highest waterfall seen in the pics is actually in Eastern Tennessee (2 hours away) but it's one of my favorite places in the state so I included it anyway.:icon_bigg
never make that mistake in front of a native english speaking person. they'll laugh... (handy=handlich)
what a mistake :-( We learned it at school so often and in this case I just forgot it OH: btw, handy camera is true, because my mobile phone is very handy ;-)
I normally keep all my pictures in the Japan thread but I decided to postthese here. I took the below shots the other day on the way home from work. All the shots are taken from the outside of the main train station. The picture quality isn't too hot since mobile phone cameras are pretty crap at long distance night time shots. Below you can see the NEW !! Yes, NEW (made in 6 months !!) wedding chapple place. Just past the chapple you come to the massive Pachinko place (I hate panchinko places) and a whopping big electrical store called Deo Deo (On the right) In the far distance you can see Shimonoseki Tower otherwise known as the big nob by the locals. Also, do you notice the palm trees? No idea why Shimonoseki has them. No other part of Japan I've been to has them. a closer look at the Pachinko place. Look carefully and you'll notice that onlythe bottom floor is for Pachinko. The rest of it is a bloody car park !! Another reason why I hate pachinko places. Too big with bugger all inside. Yakumo
A Brief Tour Of 'Albertopolis' A Few Pictures of my uni halls, and what I walk past every day This Picture is from an odd perspective, where everything is should become clear with the others Its just to the left of the albert hall seen here: This is the albert hall taken by meagain, my hall is in the top left) This is the other side of the road: (Royal college of music on right and royal school of mines on left for those interested) Royal College Of Music The School of mines is the building I walk Through Everyday:
Why must you all live in beautiful, clean, nice, wonderful, happy, cities? All i have to look forward to is some steel mills....I'll grab some pics when i can find where they were on my pc Meanwhile, anyone who's seen the Silent Hill Movie, has marveled at the beautifully destroyed city that they are in....Fear not this is not a prop, But our cities, crowning jewl, the Lister Block: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=lister%20block&w=all Yes This Building Is Real. Yes, That Is Its Current State, No, I Am Not Kidding Ryan
I'll take some pictures when I get the chance, but be forwarned: I live in an area that can't decide if it wants to be in the country or a city. Raleigh is pretty nice if you're in the right area, but there's no fucking way I'm taking my camera on an hour's drive for a few pictures .
