oh nice still waiting for the snow here.. although it's freezing (bet there's something wrong with the radiators in my apartment) :/
This thread hasn't been updated in a while. Below is some video I took of my trip from Seattle to Tacoma. Normally this is just and hour's car ride but I didn't have a car. I took some buses, a train, a trolley sorta thing, and some good 'ol fashioned walking and it's all set to some sweet 8-bit music. Some noticeable landmarks: Various Seattle buildings, Qwest Field, Starbucks Headquarters, Mt. Rainier, and Wal*Mart. Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9X5aCIz-c9U
lol jon, i'm amazed your flip lasted the ride considering how long it takes to bus from seattle to tacoma xD I've had to do that a few times.
it's got a great battery. i've never ran out of juice. this particular trip took WAY too long because my phone died and Lee was supposed to pick me up at the train station downtown, but he couldn't find it. so i ended up waiting an hour and a half for him then just decided to take the bus home. it seriously took about 4 hours to get home from Seattle. :banghead:
Yeah that day monica and I met up with you and michael at pink godzilla when you had just started at SPU...that was crazy. we took the bus there AND back. we left at like 9 AM and met you at what? Noon? 1? 2? And the ride back I caught the Last #1 heading down pacific to my house. she was living in puyallup at the time and she kissed me goodbye, SUPER awkward since I was dating her BFF Danielle and I was on a bus, at night, by myself, for the first time carrying around a 92 dollar copy of Sin and Punishment. I was scared and the whole thing was awkward....
It was about four feet lower yesterday and my apartment complex is only a block away... It's suppose to keep rising till Friday too.
It's actually a Creek that's flooded and full of Ice. We had a rapid snow melt + a bunch of rain recently. Normally that Creek is only 1-2 feet deep and you can see the bottom. This morning it was at 6.3 Feet and by Sunday morning it's predicted to reach 9.1 feet. It's actually normally really clear water, but because of it flooding and all the rain it's full of mud. So long as flood waters don't reach my apartment building I think things will be fine. Supposedly the water did get that high 4 years ago.
