I'm sure the delay can't be due to wanting to add more cars, that can be accomplished by Sony selling us cars on PSN.
Good info Johnny, if Sony was the one who delayed, it makes perfect sense. Looks like winter 2010 my guess.
Indeed. Still i'm not sure it will follow all the rules, specially about the locations. Some rally stages are huge. Plus i don't think most people would like the official WRC rules, which is race against time. To have race and time trial it's more acceptable. I guess they got the rights for the cars. One of those Subaru and Focus WRC cars have stickers with "Rally Tokyo 246", "Rally Toscana", even on previous GT's with "Rally Grand Canyon", "Rally Swiss Alps",... I don't think they plan to add the real WRC stages, and i would be surprised to see any of them on the game. Well, Kazunori already said that not all Nascar cars will be avaiable. Remember 16 cars on track is the maximum. On the E3 demo, it's basicly 4 different cars, with the same paint scheme with different colors. (example: Jeff Gordon's car with Red/Blue original paint, then Black / Fire paint and so on). Again, this could have been changed, but no new info / screens have been released to think otherwise. Again, all this is pure guess. Until the game is released we won't know very much...
Wasnt something already said about downloadable content though, to slowly build up the tracks so its a more complete package? Who knows how much has changed though. Nascar really only needs 4 cars to have competent racing (without getting into the specifics of the different motor builders). Id honestly be disappointed if there WASNT a point-to-point rally race, as they are quite enjoyable
No they won't :crying: Maybe the game will be delayed as long as GT portable, but eventually be released!
Kazunori said many times he wants to release the game complete. If then, some interesting cars and tracks are signed, then yes a DLC. He never liked the idea of selling a game in pieces, so i guess 100% of the PD effort was to finish the game as one full package, meaning that any extra content through DLC won't be mandatory / important. Like i said, nothing much of GT5 was revelad. Anything we say / discuss is pure guess. And much of the stuff won't be revealed till it gets released.
Has anyone seen a demo of the head tracking yet? I guess they are using the PSeye to do some Johnny Chung Lee style head tracking of the cars interior?
No offence Borman, but I don't see it. Driving as fast as possible in a ring means danger, but you can't really call them skilled drivers. They just have fast reactions.
