    I do too :) Switching cables between my SFC, DC, Mega Drive and Saturn is a real pain.

    This might be a stupid question but, does the 3.5 audio out jack allow for sound that is coming from the scart cable to be redistributed to a sound bar rather than the tv, or does it serve a different purpose?

    I'd expect its related to the VGA output (given VGA only carries video) rather than as a breakout from the SCART output. I could be wrong though.

    Yes, it was added on par with VGA. However nothing prevents you to use it for a different purpose.

    JP21 PCB is 100% complete, will go to the manufacturer this week. But I'll do only 1 switch this time, want to make sure everything is right.

    Would you anticipate any issues with RGB SCART from a Dreamcast Toro or from a ps2 sent through a sync strike and extron?

    The first thing I'd troubleshoot is the cable from the Switch to the XRGB Mini. Out of curiosity, where did you get your SCART cable?

    I know when I get mine I'll be ordering from retro_console_accessories.

    I decided to do just 1 JP21 device for now, this is reroute and I want to make sure it'll be perfect.
    Hanzo works, Toro I don't own but it should work as well.

    Where did you get that reply from? I can't find it anywhere. It's not a switch problem. Cable that goes from the switch to TV contributes to the audio noise. That's why I don't source the SCART cables. RGB affects audio signal and that's why you hear the hum. It was always like that and the one and only solution to this is to totally separate audio and video wires. Check how viletim did this for his NESRGB. When you use the switch you basically increase the cable length at least twice, that's why you don't hear the hum when connecting to XRGB directly. Anyway the hum is there, it's just lower.

    Very useful device, but I have a question. If I'm connected to the input (SCART to SCART) VHS or LaserDisc player, will I get video at the output?
