I don't have a time for Kickstarter. There is no waiting list anymore, everybody waiting will get their switches soon. And there will be a few extra just to buy. I believe RetroRGB is gonna be able to start shipping somewhere next week because I'm pretty close with the soldering.

As someone who missed the initial sale, I'm certainly waiting for those few extra to buy. I hope there will be at least one more batch made in the future in case I miss out again.

Nobody will miss his switch anymore. They would be available as long as there is a demand. The problem here is the funding because it would be really expensive for the customer if I would order small amounts. And going big means funding, so either I invest some funds or somebody else does (pre-orders etc.)

Well this is good news. I'm dying to get my hands on one but missed the preorders. I have a Hama SCART switch but it's not nearly as versatile and sexy.

I really try to get one of these few extra switches. I check everything (here, RetroRGB's Facebook and Twitter) on a daily basis, but that will not give me any guarantee to get one.

But what happens, if i miss these few switches? Will there be another pre-order? Do we have to wait for another few months? Wait for a year?

    Greetings
    Vollie

You'll have to wait for the next batch :)
Definitely not a year, probably around 1-2 months.

Sounds great. I just feared to wait for a really long period of time again. But 1-2 months is ok for me.

    Around 1.5 lbs.

    And update:
All SCART and VGA connectors are soldered, what's left is DC/Audio jacks 2 ON-OFF switches and a LED. Then case, testing and shipping to RetroRGB.
Looking forward to getting all this done until the end of this week.

Urge to rearrange SCART cables rising! What with this, the PSIO on the way soon and the OSSC in the works I'm going to be in retro heaven.

It's definitely a good time to be a retro gamer. Care explaining what those acronyms are? They don't ring a bell to me.

It all works. There may be some incompatibilities with some improper mods but that's not covered.

I've assembled about 70% of all the units (case). The final stage is testing which I'll hopefully start tomorrow. Testing should be much faster than anything else.
Will keep you posted guys and thanks for your patience!
