Anybody in the UK/Europe that can recommend a VGA->SCART cable for use with the gscartw please? I bought this but it doesn't work. A link to one that works will save me a lot of time and money trying possible candidates and sending them back.

    Many thanks in advance. :):):)

I've been looking for a direct SCART>Framemeister cable like this one:
It looks like it's properly shielded and all and would be a nice addition to my setup. Does anyone have a clue where one can get his hands on such a cable?

    Hi guys,
Sorry for not following up, I'm currently doing major home repair and it takes almost all my free time. Sent PM to BladeBlur.
I will open gscartsw pre-orders next week, have to make updated photos and add more descriptions.

Hello! I'm still on my search of best SCART switcher. My recent one: http://goo.gl/4C0rja gives good video quality for retro consoles (SNES NTSC, SNES PAL) but there is one problem: GameCube PAL and sync over composite used in EURO/ SCART cable. Because of this there is a picture distortion (thin diagonal lines visible at bright, warm background colour). Do you think that gscartsw can provide clean, undistorted picture with GameCube PAL version?

I myself currently use GameCube PAL with official SCART cable, it works fine. Later I plan to upgrade to gcvideo while still using progressive RGB signal (not component one).

Wouldn't mind seeing a side by side of component vs progressive RGB!

Official SCART cable works the same way like mine (https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk). Direct input to TV gives best results but I need to find SCART switcher which allows connecting GameCube with the same video quality :-(

Are jp21 units going to be included in this new batch of pre orders?

How does one pre-order? Is it by clicking the order buttons on the link on Page 1 of this thread when pre-ordering is "open" or is there another method? (Sorry if that is a dim question.)

    Thanks!

If you read 7 post before your own post you'll know the pre-orders open up next week ;)

Hi Pascal - I saw that ;) The question I have is not when but HOW... Is there a specific page or link one has to visit / click? Is it the link on post 1 of the thread?

I'm sure superg will post it here when the pre-orders are live.
Then you can go to his website ;)

First post has link to http://gretrostuff.com - so easy is that.
I'm having some urgent things to do, I hope I'll work on the pre-orders on a weekend.
I'm still not sure about JP21 - if I open pre-orders and it'll be under 30 at the cutout I'll have to refund it and I'm not comfortable with keeping somebody else money for some time.

I cannot wait until this goes back up for orders, i check this thread daily sometimes multiple times. I have a mess of cables to deal with, and being able to just turn a system on is going to be godly, especially after hearing all the good reviews.

Lost my gameroom to a roomate we are now renting to for some extra money, so my setup has been moved to the bedroom.

Needless to say the fiance is NOT happy lol But even she said the Gscart was super cool looking.

    Gscart. Fiance/Wife approved.
