Interesting look. I wonder if any modded a CD drive used by a SF doctor in a similar fashion. It would be even better if the community worked on a hardware project and API to develop games for the SNES CD like some devs are doing with the Sega Genesis and the Sega CD (although they are using pre-existing hardware).

If it has not been mentioned: Project Milo. Made back then when the gaming market was about actually pushing the boundaries of gaming. Now they know that you can make more money by making shitty mobile games, shooter sequels and pandering to gamer nostalgia.
