    Muscle wasn't the reason the XL size was invented. Especially in America.

    American sizes are crazy. If I go designer, I'm sometimes Large, sometimes Medium. Normal shorts, T-shirts, wife beaters, etc, I'm a medium. Japan, I'm L or LL (mainly due to length, not size). I have kind of a long torso which makes buying clothes in Japan an amazing challenge. I hate the style most of the time though, as it's the same clothes I saw 10 years ago. :}

    I'm S or M... somewhere along those lines.

    @Warakia: My front hair is touching the eyes already but not at shoulder level...

    Are there female otakus who like male otakus? (I didn't say if there were any)

    OT: Seems that I can't connect here sometimes... sometimes it is on... sometimes it can't be found despite the internet connection...

    You are proud of wearing x-small size shirts? It amazes me how different the mentality is here. I would have to basicly eat 800 calories to get that skinny... I did that for a while as i used to be chubby a few years ago, needless to say i would get light headed and when i first started hitting the gym i could barely bench press 70 pounds xDDDDD.

    It depends on how the weight is worn. If you enjoy Japanese fashion, you need to either be amazingly thin, or you need to be just gay enough where you can where clothes that are way too tight for you (and likely don't have enough length either).

    Don't think you can't pull in a non-gaijin meat market unless your fashion sense at least somewhat mocks Japanese. Style is style, and being suave w/ the words is at least as important, and can trump the external if you're not a troll.

    Here in Spain, if you dress like Gackt, you'll get all the female otakus that you want, and even more. It doesn't matter if you're uglier than a Gremlin.

    To be fair, Japan is the land of the mismatch. It's not uncommon to see a complete donut hand in hand with a someone out of his league. More often than not, this is what happens when women go looking for men in cheesy gaijin bars.

    I work at the main manga event in Spain, and the percentage of ugly male otakus is by far bigger than the female.

    That's true, but there are more male otaku than female too, at least here.

    You mean you wear glasses? Not a problem as long as the glasses match your look.

    Seeing as you are going for a Loli-kei look something quite severe or classic would be good. But if you have boring glasses then yeah your look will be ruined quite a bit.

    For my look I always wear sunglasses or contact lenses when I am working or know I will be in a situation when I cannot wear my sunglasses. But I always carry a pair of boffin normal glasses for when I need to be taken seriously.

    Bottom line is do not let glasses spoil a perfect outfit.

    Oh and you do not see many tanned loli. You might want to consider a pale foundation or white powder if you have dark skin. As I am sure you know there is a special word for those who attempt Loli-Kei fashion and fail because of a single flaw. Its an awful lot of pressure!
