If you had the rarest game ever, would you immediately sell it?

    It depends.

If I found an Atari game, it would be up on eBay imemdiately. I have no interest in the platform and those who do have grown up, worked and saved hard so have good money to spend.

If it was say for the current generation, I'd want to wait 30 years and sell it once the current crop of kiddies grew up and had good money to spend too.

Chances are though I'd leep it as long as I could until I was skint and sold it, or sell it to pay for items which interest me more so.

I guess it depends if it is on a platform I collect for or not. If it wasn't for Sega I'd most likely sell it. The amount that Air Raid fetches could probably pay off my my student loans in their entirety.

if i found an old game in my attic or something and it was worth a lot of money, i can assure you it would be sold off as quickly as possible and the money i made would be paying (hopefully) a chunk of my mortgage off, at the end of the day its just a game, if you have no money troubles and can afford to keep stuff like that then by all means do it however most people i would think would put real life before games and sell it to help improve their current financial situation

If its a game with an insane price and I don't give a shit (Nintendo World Championships: Gold Edition) I would, immediately

But I would have a hard time deciding to sell a sealed mint Panzer Dragoon Saga copy.

The difference is that he didn't have to be killed twice on fees. He had no fees on GameGavel, so that is a lot of cash.

See it really maters to me. If it's ultra rare and I want it, I'll keep it. If it's something I really don't like then the disc would be up for auction.

Lets say it's something ultra rare like BIOHAZARD Trial Edition. I already have a few copies in my possession so a third copy would be up for auction.

If somehow I got a BIOHAZARD 1.5 beta disc, I'd rather not sell it but would dump it for the community. I wouldn't care if it made my purchase moot as I'd own the original disc. But if it was perhaps a near complete build, like the 80% build, I think I might hold onto it. If it's the 40% build then It'd be dumped in an instant.

With those insane prices (like Air Raid, and Kizuna Encounter PAL) I would definitely sell 'the rarest game ever' in a heartbeat. No game will give me "more than $30.000,- fun", so I rather sell it and have a blast with the money :)

This made me think what other games or prototypes could be worth $33,000? I wonder if RE 1.5 did surface and someone did an auction if it would get that much? Of course if anyone had RE 1.5 and wasn't going to sell it they better be ready for nonstop requests to dump the thing!
