Just saw an add for the new Wii Brawl game and guess who I saw? Snake from Metal Gear ! I had no idea he was in this h: I wonder what other secret characters there are. Yakumo
LOL Yakumo, I think you are the KING of Slowpokes.:icon_bigg Damn, that news is freaking OLD!:110: Sonic is in Brawl, too. I can't remember the whole roster, but they have a few characters you would think were too obscure for Brawl. Personally though, I think this game is getting way too much hype. Every "JAPAN TIME" gets people more and more stirred up over the game, and all hells gonna break loose when it doesn't meet their expectations.
It seems to be pretty hyped in japan at the moment even the gc versions on yahoo were going for about 1000 yen at a time & now every auction i see they are all hitting over 4000 yen.
I DON'T KNOW whether that was sarcasm or not, but he's referring to SSB Melee, for the GC. In other news... /v/ = /sb/
 Bloody hell. Just goes to show how much I couldn't give a shit about this game  YOu know what's really funny is that Nintendo & NTT are pushing hikari fiber (100mbps connection) and Wii as an ideal partner for online gaming using Brawl as the main focus. I mean, is Nintendo taking the piss or what? how many online games do they have? Maybe two that I know of which as Brawl and bloody Pokemon. I really can't understand the lack of online games on the Wii, I really can't. The Dreamcast had well over 50 in Japan and this was 9 years ago! Yakumo
Can you quit spamming with your Nintendo hate? we get it, you don't like Nintendo for no reason. I don't even understand what your post has to do with Snake being in Brawl. As for the online games, yeah it sucks. I was hoping metroid would have it since it did on the DS.
I do know that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3(Sparking Meteor) is online.I only played it on the PS2 with has no online mode.
Yeah, someone at work was talking to me about that. I'm sure mario kart will be online. Who knows? The wii might take off with online gaming, it's already got wifi built into it
Really? Man, I never bought that because to me it's just the same as the first Wii Dragonball game which I own. Is it different enough to be worth owning both games? Yakumo
How many of those were available one year into the systems life, and how many of them were developed by Sega? You're blaming Nintendo for not having any online games for the Wii, but they do*. It's just that very few third parties do. * Battalion Wars, Mario Strikers Charged, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Endless Ocean (I know it's developed by Arika - but it's published by Nintendo) - and obviously both Mario Kart and Animal Crossing will be online when they're released this year. Then there are a few third party titles like Geometry Wars Galaxies, Guitar Hero 3, and so on. You're just not being fair towards Nintendo.
OK, for a start the Dreamcast had a good handful of online titles in Japan within 1 year. Easily 3 times more than what Nintendo does. Sega provided the whole online Dream Passport data used in EVERY online game so to answer your question, Sega had a hand in every one. As for the list of online games they are practically all F*ing Mario shite or Pokemon. We want games that don't contain bloody Mario. Nintendo are to blame and there's no arguing about it. Sega encouraged developers to make online compatible games while Nintendo do nothing. As a fact, about 80% of Dreamcast titles have some sort of online connection even if it's just a link to the home page for downloadable data. Nintendo are to blame. I know Nintendo fan boys will defend them till the bitter end but you can't ignore the facts. Yakumo PS: I love my Wii and it's 20 odd games I love my Super Famicom with it's 40 odd games so I'm no way a Nintendo hater.
Well its pretty much the same game as the last one, just more characters and such and of course you can fight people online, but thats pretty much it.
