There is an image of elza in the staircase.... I don't know if its the b1 door.... but it has stairs going up and down. It even has debug info stating what room it is with a number ( like the top right image, it says door : 3.3 ) . It's the same quality as the photos you posted and i'm pretty sure it's even on the bioflames website. Thanks for the information.

This one? It's the only legit one. And the only one from Bioflames collection.

Boss should open up a PayPal donation account, which we just fill with money from time to time. All users should be able to see how much money is currently on, so as soon as the right person pops up with a copy of RE 1.5 and thinks that the current value is enough for his copy, we trade and everyone is happy.

    really? why?

every other idea people have had failed miserably and at least if someone did come along the money would be there waiting rather than the usual scrabble to get money if something comes along people want

If it ever did come up for sale, I highly doubt there would be a scramble for money. It would be snapped up straight away.

All it takes is the right person, it can be as simple and as difficult as that.

What you have to remember is there's people actively seeking this game all the time, and I'm not talking about people who browse the web once or twice a month, I mean people who legitimately could aquire the game from collectors. The moment someone gets their hands on the game and wants to release it, they will, and untill then we just have to wait quietly. Making noise isn't going to get the game released any sooner, 1.5 is the kind of thing that gets passed about quietly so we have to respect that. Collectors like to know that what they have still holds it's value and untill the day comes when someone spends the money to release it, there's nothing we can do about it. We just have to let the collectors do their thing and make sure they feel like they can pass it about naturally without pressure from communities putting stress on their trades.

Interesting to see that the top layer artwork (foreground) still hasn't been added, much like in the BH2 beta 2. Is this the 80% build?

The only thing i'm worried about is it's actual status and preservation. I know how dreadfully some people treat their hard- and software. :(

im sure there is a collector in our ranks who preserved the game, so dont worry. furthermore the collector/developer/tester need the right time to release it, we must respect that.

finally, trust is more worth than a unreleased worthless game, my opinion.

Oh yes, I'm patient. Time doesn't concern me in this matter at all. :p

And yes, I still have faith in it's actual state. But it's also good to take it's opposite into consideration I guess...

I wouldn't be surprised when Capcom released the game "officially" along with the Biohazard 2 Remake (a title that is extremely much wanted by the series main audience).

The 5 or 6 copies out in the wild are preserved just fine... Like i said... any person who has 1.5 knows what they have. It's been the holy grail of beta/prototype's for years !

Why? I understand how interesting it would be (kind of excites me sometimes). But its similar to already released games. There are much more interesting unreleased games around (The fish eye sonic xtreme springs to mind.

Edit: Im probably coming off as insensitive here. Some people have things they would desperately like to see much like me with DooM's 0.1 alpha

Capcom won't do anything until its profitable for them. It's too much of a gamble thinking ''Well its Resident Evil/biohazard people will buy it.'' When there is a vast desire for it (and not a few thousand people on the internet) they will make it. Remember, they are a business.

What makes all of these people think Capcom should release this extremely old beta? It would make no sense on their part and be un-proffesional when viewed from the designers/companies eyes. Nobody want's and unfinished product full of game breaking bugs and unfinished elements to get out, because to the layman (Non-prototype enthusiast) he won't enjoy an unfinished Resident Evil over a retail one.

I am sure the real thing will pop up in the next few years, and hopefully it will get released for all you fanatics.

What is the point? This page is always at the top anyway, I forget that it isn't stickied!

Id rather have a super early Biohazard Beta. Now that would be sick disgustingly nasty amazing.

As a hardcore RESIDENT EVIL fan since day one, getting my hands on this game would be amazing. It looks a lot more dark and grimy then the RE2 we got now.... The police station actually looks like a police station... Different zombies, some pretty bad ass enemies, sweet guns. Both the t and g virus were in it, i could go on and on about this game and why its the holy grail. There are a ton of other unreleased games i would like to get my hands on of course.

You do realize there's a ton of doom alphas/betas all over the internet !

There are a few different beta builds of this game and the "complete" one. I'd even be happy to get my hands on a beta version of this game.... I think i'd want the beta version more then the complete one.... From what i gather the debug menu is not in the final.... and of course, why would it be.

There's still that 0.1 Co-op Alpha out there somewhere. :)

This one and the 0.3 still haven't surfaced yet. If John Romero had more time to spare, then I'm sure he has a treasure trove of material from ID's history to yet share with us.

Sorry if that's a bit off topic.

Complete? 1.5 was never completed - only up to around 80%. The final beta does indeed have the debug menu as well.
