Info about Resident Evil 1.5

That username rings a bell, but it might not be connected to RE. Someone with a memory better than mine might be able to remember, or not remember as the case might be.

Man this whole thing with all the representatives coming out and stuff is just a mess. They really ought to just say absolutely nothing, go dead silent until one day it's just out and that's it. Adding more stuff for people to speculate about is just getting old, all it does is cause more arguments which eventually reach back to the people that have the thing.

It's great SOMEONE'S doing this after all this time, though. I just hope no more drama comes out like that Mark guy.

 

It's rather safe to say that all the claims posted on behalf of this group have been fake statements so far. If they ever wanted to release more information, they would have probably done it in a manner nobody could ever misunderstand or have a doubt about. For example, they could be releasing some notes with stuff that only the group could know, or by attaching screenshots/videos of legit-looking parts of the game (which is more or less what they did until this day, sans the notes). Until this happens, I would just ignore all this fake looking claims and keep doing something else.

 

I just thought i'd stand up and be counted as another fan that wants to see 1.5. Don't worry i'm not an immature person with a desire to cause trouble or make demands, I am just here to show my support, and to those of you that have tried to get it released, you have my thanks. I am curious about certain aspects of this game though, is there any information other than what is in this thread about 1.5? Which facegroup group is it that is supposedly fixing 1.5 for release?

 

I'm not actually sure of the Facebook group's identity, but it doesn't matter anyway since I've heard it's already been closed down...

 

There have been a couple of Facebook pages but they were quickly closed as information leaked out as the group seem to curretly wish to remain anonymous to the general public.

 

There never was a page to begin with. The one you're referring to is the group where the first leaks appeared; said group is still alive and kicking, so honestly no wonder where you got that from.

So let me get this straight it's still being done, but the group responsible are currently in cognito?

 

Given how the leaks were apparently accidental and not planned to be released on purpose, it's safe to assume they have been incognito right from the start.

 

This is the story. There was a Facebook page open where discussions were being had in Italian, one of the community members was talking to this individual who claims he has connections to a group who were hacking 1.5 and provided screen shots of said build. The guy said that a release date had been set but did not say what the release date was. The images were leaked to the public at which point the guy asked for the images to be removed, and the following day the Facebook page was closed. A month later another member found images on a second Facebook page which to my knowledge was never disclosed to the public. Other than what can be seen in the pictures this is all the information we have, nothing official has ever been released and no official statements have ever been made.

Why people never bother reading a few lines above? The Facebook page is still there. What isn't there is the original discussion.

 

I really don't see why you feel the need to argue about semantics. At the end of the day the link which once led to the discussion along with any info is gone, that's about all you need to know.

 

A Facebook group isn't even close to a discussion. And it's not like the first time I've seen "semantics" errors like this one; above all, the claim about an "italian team" working on the restoration project. There never was an italian team, along a ton other made up or misunderstood bits of information.
