just started my collection of xboxes

hi guys
well i just started out down the road of collecting a few nice xboxes, love the look of the old consoles and as my eldest daughter is well into her retro gaming consoles i though this would be something nice to pass onto her in the years to come.

so far:

skeleton xbox ( has been softmodded with a 250gb hdd and a 220v power supply )
crystal green xbox debug kit ( i recently got off ebay for £35 )... should i leave the stickers that are on it.. i guess so... yes
2 x crystal xboxes ( both softmodded with 160gb hdd and loaded with coinops 5 )
1 x brand new never opened kasumi chan dead or alive xbox from japan
and today i picked up an original hulk edition ( still boxed) the owners mum worked for microsoft and got one free ( ubber rare as im sure there are only about 35 or so out there ) this was bloody expensive though..

 

I have the Limited Edition mountain dew one I'm looking to sell if you want it. BTW nice collection I want the Hulk one lol.

 

well i have sort bought a mountain dew one from the states for $90 and they are supposed to be shipping it to my friends in virgina beach, but its been a week and they have had no sign of it, had a couple of emails off the guy saying it was posted last saturday but im not holding my breath at the moment, just hoping its not a case of starting a paypal claim up.... maybe im to trusting as i would never dream of taking someones money just for the hell of it... we will see.

 

heres the thing, its nice to have them out on display but is this bad for them, it just seems such a waste to have them wrapped up hidden in a box..!! was thinking of putting them in some sort of perspex display cases or something

 

If you have a ton consoles, you might be better off building a show case. I really have struggled to find anything that can display a lot of consoles nicely.

 

Very cool! Does your Hulk box have the Pepsi logo on the front? The last one I saw did.

no logo on the front..maybe that was an extra sticker they put on. i spoke to the owner of this when i picked it up and her mum worked for microsoft, she was given this for free and her mum even said she saw a couple in the skip... so they did throw some away.... anyways she gave it to her daughter at the time and shes had it for the last 1o years or so stashed away in its box...

 

What controller did it come with? Black like the mountain dew? I have a boxed mountain dew, boxed crystal clear and the green HALO which still has the plastic sheet that is stuck to the top and sides. I am in the US though But I can ship them to you I sold my blue HALO 2 a few weeks ago and that was factory sealed! BTW that Hulk xbox is awesome! I will give you 800 USD for it.

it came with a black controller but the cable has a green tinge to it, so not sure if thats normal or not

just got my brand new kasumi blue xbox arrive from japan, everything included and unopened
should look great next to my hulk xbox !!!!!

just picked up my first new controller vary happy as it only cost me £8

I heard those caps on the memory cards are quite hard to get off.
