just a few updated pics, yes i know i have a graded game..!!!! i just wanted to get one done by ukgraders to see what all the fuss was about, am very pleased with it actually and have another sealed pal demo version of xbox conker im getting done by them, but THATS it..!! im having these graded for me and not to sell..!! anyways one day all this will be left to me eldest daughter so please dont have a go at me for the dreaded grading thing !! apart from that picked up another sealed green original controller last week for £12..
cheers for that, its not that good..!!! i just prefer to collect stuff i like to look at rather than collect to horde... if u know what i mean...
^Not really if you got the drive and the determination to complete an original Xbox game set then go for it,jk. Haha but really nice collection of Xbox hardware and sealed stuff Digging on the red Xbox controller like that color . BTW it's not hoarding it's collecting silly tis but only a perspective issue nothing more. Keep up the good work collecting.
yep i suppose thats true, just a shame when some collections are all wrapped up and shoved in a box or locked away.. if its rare and collectable its nice to see it on show dont you think
Hey very nice collection. I don't mean to derail your thread but I've been wondering where those promotional copies originate. Are they review copies? Is there anything different or are they final like I suspect.
I can answer that; Promotional copies are usually given to minor reviewers a few weeks before release. Reason why they say "Not for resale". Usually they are in a retail case, with retail artwork excluding the yellow banner also without a manual. Discs are usually just mirror finishes with the name of the game on the front. Different publishers possibly have different finishes but I can't say anything on that since I only own Burnout 3 Promotional copy.
well most of my promotional ones have manuals. just like collecting them as i feel they are slightly rarer being promo copies
here are a few more of my promo ones ive collected, half are new and sealed and half are not, would have more but peoples are starting to ask silly money for the new sealed ones im not after collecting the whole lot just whatever takes my fancy so to speak have recently got hold of a load of genuine alpha display cases and these are great for storing my games in
i don,t know if this is the right way but i have a copy of second sight for promotional use only its in perfect condition and i,am willing to part with it? just shoot me an PM and sorry if this is not allowed !
Thanks for the distinction guys. I asked because I'm part of a project that is documenting every known xbox release out there with scans of the art and I needed information on these. If anyone would like to contribute to our project, I'd greatly appreciate it. Otherwise thanks for the info. I'm sorry for derailing your thread jgs600.
On another note, the Xbox fits nicely in a 19" Rack.... could probably get 12 - 15 xboxs on a single full height rack.
