I used to live in Nakameguro back in 1999 :p

I do really like the very first shot you took with the shitty film, the shot of the camera. The others look washed out but as you said, they were all shot over exposed.

Yeah, it's Natura 1600. Not exactly high dollar stuff.
I like desaturated colors sometimes though

A photo of the moon taken today. You really need to check out the HD version by clicking on the photo and heading off to Flickr

Very cool. Are those w/ the new camera?
I took a shit ton of photos at Burning Man, and haven't done much in Japan before or after. I'll get back on it though, especially now that I have the equipment to develop my own B&W. ;)

My god... All these beautiful, cinematic, detailed shots are breath-taking. I apologize if this was mentioned before, but how do you get these to look so crisp Martin? I must know your black magic!

Ah, cool. Auto focus is for pussies.
    Haha.

FWIW, I'm no longer the owner of a 5d2, so my 100mm lens (which was awesome but admittedly got little use) will be gone soon. So, photos exposing my more gentle side will become a thing of the past.

Why so much grain? That looks like either super fast film or it was pushed several stops...
