This seems to run counter to the studies that show young Japanese people have no interest in sex. Methinks that these girls are the few that are having it :p

The love hotel industry is still alive and kicking. Of course, it is fueled quite a bit by young people that still have their mojo, and salary men that bang hookers.

I'm sure you've gotten one of the flyers passed out on the streets.

Weather here has been fucking unbelievable. Makes up for that hazy Summer. I have about 4 rolls of film on my table... hoping to shoot two more Saturday and two more Sunday. The internet tells me it's going to be sunny.

I tried to cross process a roll by myself, and really fucked up the first time:

What happened to those colour shots? Are they the ones you messed up? Reaal shame that. By the way, the weather down here is awful. Cold, wet and even snow just before.

I'm not totally sure, but I might not have cleaned the reel well enough. Someone warned me about plastic reels. I thought I cleaned them, but I think lots of things. Or, maybe they were caught on something? Not sure. Anyway, the colors are expected as they are cross processed. It's E6 (slide film) processed in C41 (color negative) chemicals. The output depends on the film. It is the inspiration for all of the hipster filters on iPhone apps. This is a list of Kodak slide films that cross pretty well. They are all out of production though, so you have to hunt on YJ to get them.

Thanks. I did a roll of E100G which crosses very well (the color shift is subtle) but it adds so much contrast, if you shoot something that is partial bright sky, it will blow the highlights to kingdom cum -- like 2 stops. So, going to have to think more before shooting it. E100VS (above) is good as well, but easier.

I'm using a New Mamiya 6 with the 75mm F3.5. 35mm equivalent is something like 41mm (or 39), but the DOF is totally different.

It is. The meter could use some work, but I can shoot around it, for sure. Mine was a steal! Very happy with it. Reloading after 12 shots is rough though, and it takes a bit longer than 35mm.

WTF! Man, that is such as fantastic image. Do you have the full resolution version. I'd love to use that as a wallpaper.

    Sure, try this.
    www.gamengai.com/okiba/pineapple_walk.tif

The red shit on the edges isn't nearly as pronounced on the tif file -- I didn't even notice it even. So yeah, bummer. I have to check if Flickr supports PNG. JPG sucks.

This lady actually posed once for me but this one is way better.

cheers! I've got that as my work desktop wallpaper now.

So, does that woman often walk around with a pineapple in a shoe? So odd.
