I agree with others that reviews can be a load of crap. Do you remember Mind Jack? That got awful reviews fro Pretty much everyone because it was 't some stupid Call of Duty crap. The game at first glance and play did seem shallow but once you got in to it you'd find a wonderful game. Not the best game of the year but one well worth playing. Ever since then reveiws where not for me. Witcher 2 so caught me out but for another reason. Everyone said it was fantastic. It is bollocks! I got stuck and found out there was no way back without an earlier game save which I never had. Ob, and the game really drags on. Yakumo
The moment I really stopped believing in reviews without a large dose of salt was when they praised Sonic Rush. Of course I had to get it, only to discover it's a massive load of shit.

I never disregarded your opinion. Your 3rd statement, the game is Not one that you should NOT miss out on - is subjective. Example? Ask Goichi Suda. What would he tell you? you would NOT want to miss out on this game. I'm in the middle, it's a game you should play but won't miss much if you don't. You're on the opposite end. You think it's not worth playing. There, you see how it's subjective? All art is subjective. I think Eraser head is one of the greatest films ever made that everyone should experience. My wife thinks it's a horrible film. ANY game can be viewed that way. Any creative work can be viewed that way. Which is why your 3rd statement is subjective. You state that you have proof that people do NOT like this game - that has NOTHING to do with your third statement. You will find in ALL art that NOTHING will have 100% agreement on it being AMAZING or TERRIBLE.

There is no special edition in the US, or anywhere other than Japan. Even then, the Japanese special edition doesn't come with a chainsaw. There are inflatable chainsaws that were used to promote this game. I do not know their size, only that they exist.
All the ones I've seen pictures of do, in fact, seem to have been mailed in the box like that. What a shame.
