Let us ask Roger Ebert what he thinks of video games.

This is why i like both destructoid and joystiq reviews. They are good to read. Most people these days only care about scores and don't even bother reading about the game. Plus i hate how some gamesites totally forget the fun factor of a game.

Like you, i still won't pick this up, mostly because i have tons of games to finish first (haven't played my PS3 for two months now). But it's on my wishlist.

After I got (and really enjoyed) Ninja Gaiden 3 I stopped reading reviews all together. I only read them to see how off the mark they are.

Yep. I've only played the first level so far because I was falling asleep while playing but I don't know how to change my clothes. Also the game is all in English despite this being the Japanese version. I guess it's based upon the 360s system settings. I'm going to play more tonight after my son goes to bed. There's far too much blood in it to be playing when he's around.

To change your clothes, go to the main menu > juliet's room > costumes.

Nope, no language options at all in the option screen.

Well, I've had quite a lot of time to play this now and I am enjoying the game. It's not a must have title and it doesn't offer online co-op play but who cares? It's a pure arcade style button masher. Combos at first are thin on the ground but the more you play the more combos you can purchase from the store points through out the game. There are also loads of little mini games dotted throughout the levels just as you'd expect from a Grasshopper made game. The humor while college boy/girl level can be quite funny at times and well, not much at other times but that could be due to my age. Still, even at 36 years old there have been quite a few scenes that made me laugh.

Over all it's what you'd expect from this type of game. For those who like mindless combo beat'em ups with toilet humor then you're sure going to love this game. For those who would rather play another FPS online, well go and do that and stop slagging something that you haven't played much of.

I've been playing a lot more of this game today and honestly it's shit! nah, not really :). It just gets better the more you get in to the game. Level 3 is where it really starts to pick up. The combo system is getting much better and the soundtrack is amazing. Who ever would of thought you'd be mowing down Zombies to Dead lr Alive's You spin me right round (like a record)? I'll say it again, anyone who likes mindless beat'em up action will get a kick out lf this game.

So my copy arrived today, and I'm loving it so far the levels are fairly long and there isn't much stages. The baseball mini-game was annoying though, managed to pass it the 3rd time round.
A great hack-n-slash game but it's not worth $80 (stores here are selling it for), I managed to get mine for $46 and I'm pretty happy with it, the jokes have made me chuckle a few times too :)

Daze them with cheerleader moves to slow them down. If they get too close to the cake, dropkick them away.

Ok I'm at Zed now. Time to get the Pulp fiction achievement.

    With less redneck sodomy...

I finished it yesterday and on the end credits they mention ASH's costume from Evil Dead. Looking forward to seeing that. Oh, there is more than 1 ending too!

hah Shame about the bugs. But if I had the money I'd buy this easily right now. I want to play it so bad!

And as long as the bugs aren't Crysis 1 level of bugginess it'll be good in my book haha.

To get the good ending you need to play on "Very Hard"? Or get gold rank on the final boss?
