I found out Dimps is Doing Street Fighter IV DIMPS as in the rumble fish people, Sonic rush, DBZ Budokai yeah they're doing SFIV. http://kotaku.com/gaming/breaking/street-fighter-iv-first-screenshot-330625.php
Yeah Kotaku was the only place I heard Dimps was doing it. But given Capcom's nearly non existant fighter staff now it makes sense they bring in DIMPS to handle some of the grunt work.
You should change the title GodofHardcore to something like "First Street Fighter Screen shot" to get some more people in here because its slightly miss leading not mentioning that theres an in game screen shot. Also 1UP are doing Street Fighter days slowly revealing more stuff to us like they did with Halo 3.
You know what is strange is they haven't shown movement in real time. they shown cgi stuff but i want to see real time fluid movement.
It's interesting how they are going for a hand drawn look on the 3d models themselves. I think it shows street just can't stay in 2d forever. But theres not much to complain about since there keeping it 2d style and sticking with the same 6 button setup.
Honestly, when I saw the 3D screenshot I was disappointed. I'll just have to wait until some video comes out to see if it really flows well.
The screenshot looks excellent. I like that they have kept some of the character of SF2 but turned it 3D. I'm more excited about it after seeing that picture. I still think that SFZ4 would have been a better decision though.
Zero 4 wouldn't be nessessary since 3 ends the saga. Can't wait to see the boss.... also we have these
I dunno if I like the graphics.....I dunno. I kind of like the sprites more, but I bet it could be good. I always though EX looked alright but I never played them.
I like EX a lot. i liked Kari i think his name was with the glowing red eye he had a serious 50+ combo that ended with a black out screen and his arm stuck through the torso of the other fighter. such i freaking kewl dude.
I was disappointed when I first saw the image, but it was impossible to keep the series 2D forever, and the design is not bad at all. If they're really speaking the truth when they say it'll keep the classic gameplay perhaps this'll mark the series' rebirth. I hope they show some video footage soon.
I approve of the looks, and the gameplay can't be bad considering who's making the title. Due respect will be shown where appropriate I believe.
So word has it IV's Story is going to be the direct sequel to II we've all been waiting for rendering III a Side story.
^ that's what I said ^ This looks pretty good, and I'm glad they've decided to keep it 2D - in terms of fighting dimensions, anyway. Ken looks a little downs in the first shot, though.
