If it helps, I actually saw that 262K MD Tetris in person a few years back. The price was legit, I definately remember as I was contemplating buying it :icon_biggThe shop was Mandarake Galaxy in Nakano.

I think it was 2004. Heh, I'm kinda kicking myself now that I didn't get it.

Price on the NWCs are going up. The last two copies of the NWC gold sold this year for 12k and 15k.

Pretty sure both buyers were American so it had no impact.

Obviously subjective based on date, currency you earn, and currency you spend. You could get a world pricing index based on date if you really wanted to know. I think everyone's cool w/ the dollar amount.

We should peg all video game values on the weight of gold it would buy as $8100 last year would have only bought slightly less gold then the $12000 would have done this month.

If the dollar gets any weaker then seeing games go for $20000 will be more common. :D

Has there ever been a copy of Darius Alpha (PC Engine) sold either on auction sites or privately? I remember seeing a copy on EBay about 4 years ago which was just the HU-card and had a starting price of £4k but didn't get a bid.

    Just curious.....

Yes...many times, and way cheaper than that. Generally 60,000-75,000 yen. Maybe over 100,000 w/ the piece of paper it came with? Adol will probably know.

Then what is the most expensive? Kizuna Encounter for 12000€? (19000$ today, around $17500 when it got bought by european from an european)

Well, you can find one $800-1000,but with the letter probably like 100000 minimum yes.Haven't seen 1 with letter or 3d glasses for sale for a while.I saw the glasses alone, been sold for 20000 or so IIRC.

For mine with letter,Envelope, and 3D Glasses, i got 1000€ offers for it.
But I'm not selling it, offer is too low :)
