Anyone else here got this king system. What games do you have? Games I've dumped: - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited - Tekken 6 - Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion - Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS. Full Boost - Raizing Storm - Deadstorm Pirates - Deadstorm Pirates Special Games I am missing: - Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle Royal - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Kidou Senshi Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost
I want one but doubt I will get to use it much. I've heard that unless you have a namco-ch account to log into, Gundam Ex (either version) will not run. Which is sad since I have a full HD set to the first one. =(
Please investigate because if there is some way to get that working (and even Extreme Vs org) I will buy a 359 in a heart beat.
Anyone got Mobile suit Gundam EXVS (Not Max) HDD or Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion). I threw them accidently away when I move to other city
I'd assume your missing more unless you have DBZ Battle Royal and taiko no tatsujin. I think there are a few other games also.
Hey can I ask a question? Tekken Tag 2 still does require always on internet other it wouldn't even boot right?
Thats pretty cool that you jailbroke it(im assuming since you have install package files). Have you tried tossing the games folder in a ps3 running CFW? I imagine it would throw up errors or not boot at all.
Actually it's DEVKIT sort of this is why it shows Install Packages. XMB access is really useless without full HDD read/write access since you cannot even install anything. (Also update don't work) The dev_hdd0 partition is read-only in arcade mode so even if you managed some weird way to hack access to XMB without the HDD keys (4x 256bit keys) you cannot do anything.
So, Did you hack and replace the fw with dev fw or did you just get the arcade fw to run ps3 apps? Also any luck on getting 357 software running on a ps3 devkit?
You cannot install DEX on GEX. I tried spoofing and all. These things run fine on devkit, but that's really not my interest atm.
Good to know. I'm actually interested in both ways. Mainly I'm fearful many 357 won't survive the years well since they are based on early PS3 revisions (as one can see the numerous junk units that flood yahoo). The 359 are probably in better shape. I'm also interested in trying to get the games to work with out the need for namco-ch.net
