All the information needed is already in the PSDevWiki, obviously you need some skills of your own to get the HDD keys and such. I am not gonna make some tutorial that causes massive explosion of piracy. (We all remember what happened with Naomi)
Full list of games I currently have: Taiko No Tatsujin Momoiro and Kimidori update. Dark Escape 4D, Raizing Storm, Deadstorm Pirates, Tekken 6, Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited, Mobile Suit Gundam EX VS Full Boost. I can also run them on 369 or via verse on 357. Does not matter. Soon I should get Dragon Ball Zenkai and Deadstorm Pirates Special.

i'm curious and i wanted to know if you tried to install some CFW on 3.55 ? i think it may be possible to use the same fail0verflow exploits on this since it use the same architecture
Tiibz, you cannot do that. 369 has base FW on 3.40 but all systems I have found are 3.60 minimum. (I guess 369 was released around the time of the exploits and they updated all TTT2U systems) Most new games are on 4.20+. Anyways system is much different, you cannot install any CEX packages on it. I got firmware PUPs of GEX(CEX = RETAIL, DEX = DEBUG, GEX = ARCADE etc.): 2.51, 3.10, 3.60, 4.20, 4.40 I think. Subbie, Taiko is such a funny game, it uses JVS analogs so I used my guns to play it sort of Me and my friend fixed all Namco Bandai network checks from it and it now runs nicely with my added fixes so all songs are unlocked I haven't tested the latest Kimidori update Dongle tho. It should have even more songs as it was just released in the summer.
i think it would be possible to use a hardware flasher to downgrade it but we would need the 3.55 GEX PUP with some patches but theorically if it has base system 3.40 it's vulnerable to the fail0verflow hack. it could be interesting hmm
no it does not have base system of 3.40. It will allow you to downgrade to 3.40 GEX PUP if game has this. But all games have 3.40 or newer on 369. The coreos is 3.60 or newer in all systems I had.
Yeah I know about the JVS Analog lines. I have a setup at home to play the 256 games and have 1-13 already =P Nice that you were able to get all the songs unlocked and the game to run with out a connection to the server. I guess I better get my ass in gear on getting a 369 soon. i've seen some TT2U going for pretty cheap recently (ie sub 25,000 Yen).

Yeah i understand and it's a shame because in theory with base FW a 3.40 you the old metldr in there which vulnerable, it could be interesting to break the limitations on this machine but hey not bad at all even without that
You being able to modify the games mean that GEX FW has no "secure elf" whitelisting ? ("feature" present 3.60 and up OFW for retail consoles where they white-listed all self files for contents that aren't BD-ROM discs with signing key version below 3.56)
Fantastic work. If there's any possibility of releasing a tool or offering a service to patch legitimate HDDs to run offline (like Extreme Vs Full Boost), that would be amazing, and make these HDDs sitting on my desk more than expensive paperweights. ;-)
Well if you have HDD/Dongles labeled "GEL" then they are paperweights as they are Live monitors, cannot be even converted to GEX by changing flags. Full HDD replacement + Dongles is needed. Last night my friend actually helped me get Gundam running without internet(patched bazillion places on init code) but it gets stuck after intro because no network we are still working on it. Also I got some new games like normal Deadstorm Pirates and Deadstorm Pirates Special (2014) Here is video
Just a quick question for anyone who may know: Do Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion and Tekken Tag 2 Unlimited at alot of content on top of the original versions?
