Yaaaaa, only a few hours till I go get my new (used) car ! Can't wait, its killing me just sitting here till noon when i go. I want to drive it now. Anyway Im all pumped up for this car as it is my first car that could be considered a luxury/sports car I have ever owned. What I bought is a 96 low km Ford Taurus. I know its a taurus you say. But it is the SHO model that has a yamaha V8 235hp stock in it. (yes I know about the cam defect, it been pined) Also the thing has EVERY option that there was back in 96, full leather power everything including sunroof and some other great stuff like the electronicly controled suspension. bla bla bla the list goes on so needles to say it is alot of fun to drive and a big difference from the 4x4 explorer I have been driving. Heres a pic of what it looks like, not mine here but same colour and year
American cars just don't excite me They look so, err, well err ........... Let's just say I like European and Japanese designs Hope you have fun in it mate ! Drive carefully though. Yakumo
yeah but that is a one off the gt90 was never made into production also features in Gran Turismo 3 great car shame didnt get made
You know I said to myself over and over again when I was shoping that I was going to get an import this time, as my last two cars were fords...well here goes round 3. There just wasnt any good enough deals out there that apealed to me.
Oh well you can still buy a proto I agree it is a great car, my favorite actually. Mine has like 1100+ HP in Sega GT 2002.
That's F*cking Ugly mate No wonder it was never put in to production. Compare that to a Mazda RX8 or the sexy and very sporty Atenza http://special.atenza.mazda.co.jp/ I'm not really a fan of Mazda but the sports edition of the Atenza is sex on wheels :dance Yakumo
I don't think the car looks half bad, although I mainly like Japanese cars. I despise most American designs, and most European designs look awful, too (with the exception of the more expensive cars).
Yeah, the new Mazdas look pretty nice. But I'd wish they'd keep the real names of the cars over here. Seriously, what would appeal to you more - "Atenza", or "6"?
GT90? You are joking right? GT40! That's a cool car. Anyway, do you guy want cool cars? Just go to Britain. Aston Martin and Jaguar. Aston Martin can't even be considered just a car. It's a piece of art.
The Ford GT90 is a bad example and that photo is deceptive. While the front isn't that bad looking the back half is just horribly designed. Now the Dodge PPG M4S. This car should have been put in production. (Best pic I could find. 100pts if you can guess the movie without using google)
A mere glimmer. What you have to consider is that it's only a concept car, a concept car will always have exaggerated features. It's meant to show the direction that manufacturer is going in. Compare the 1992 Focus concept to Dbeau's new car: Notice the same liquid/organic body style? That's the purpose of a concept car, to express the style of the future models all in one fell swoop. ~Krelian P.S.: A front shot of the 92 Focus concept would be a better representation but I couldn't find one quickly. P.P.S.: On a more personal note I feel that the 92 Focus concept is probably the prettiest thing I've ever seen on four wheels, the sad part is that I really dislike Fords, particularly those that were drawn off the 92 concept. If only I had $1,150,000+, then I could own her...
Well that just goes to show that the US has no idea about style And it's a saloon or Sedan as you'd say, not a coupe. Yakumo
Aston Martin's are beautiful cars but the true pieces of art were the Rolls Royce and Duesenberg's of the 1930's.
