I believe he said he's not touching any of the CD system. So no TG16/PCE CD Everdrive, no Sega CD Everdrive, no Saturn Everdrive, Etc.

Someone is already doing SD card interface for PSX/PSOne, working prototype was shown in video recently. There's also one for DC but I'm not sure how far it is or if it'd be made for sale. There's one for GC using Wii mod parts and for Wii as well.

PS2 can be soft modded to play off hard drive instead of DVD drive. Not sure about XBox, PS3, or 360 and Wii U is too new right now, it was just cracked.

it would be much easier to make a gameboy everdrive than a saturn everdrive. there is even a gameboy flash cart with a direct usb input. it shouldn't be too complicated to make one with a mini sd card slot for someone with skills like krikzz.

after gameboy everdrive, the best everdrives would be saturn everdrive, dreamcast everdrive and psx everdrive. i really wish krikzz could use his great coding skills to push new everdrives.

We'd all love to have ODEs for systems like Saturn, PS1, and so on. But as others have said, Krikzz has said he wasn't interested in those. Also it's a matter of how likely it is. Based off all the flash carts he has done so far, there is no real reason that he couldn't make a gameboy everdrive. The biggest challenge would be the form factor.

Compare that to emulating the Sega Saturn's disc system which is a completely different can of worms. It'd be great if some day someone makes a device that just plugs in to the main board like the laser assembly does with a ribbon cable and it simulates the laser reading an ISO on some type of storage in the device. But that's a huge leap from a flash cartridge.
