Just took delivery of my new PC, a 24" iMac.

    24" 1900x1200 display
    3.06Ghz
    4GB RAM
    1TB HDD
    512MB 8800 GS Graphics Card

It's awesome, need to get all my files off my old PC (300GB worth) though which is taking ages...

Yeah, had a MacBook before this (sold it to pay off my Japan holiday) so know a lot of the shortcuts.

Current wallpaper (until I find something better):

Just to nitpick, but an iMac is not a PC... :icon_bigg

LOL :) PC = Personal Computer

That just about covers everything from a Sinclair ZX80 to a CRAY including an I-MAC :D

You are confusing PC with the old IBM PC definitions as devzone said.

Yeah the keyboard is a slab of metal, so it's very thin, but also nice and weighty.

I love Mac's I really do. I made the switch to a Macbook in January and I've never looked back. The great thing about Korea is that the Apple Store is unofficial and they sell most stuff at a big discount. A lot of the stores here too have bootleg Mac t-shirts which let me display my computer preference in neon tacky pride 24/7.

Very nice system, I hope to pick one up one day.

I also got a new iMac last week as a present, but mine isn't even half as nice as your's is (20", 2,6Ghz, 320GB HDD, 1GB RAM, 256 MB graphics card).

Also very please with it though :)

Well, I was being sarcastic, but regardless of how old the definition is, it is still valid to separate computers into "Macs" and "PCs" even if they use the same hardware. :110:

Nice computer there, but IMO the best iMac ever was the G4:love:

a More Elegant Mac For a More Civilized Age;-)

Why they didnt keep the design? with all respect but the G5/present design is not as edgy, cool or functional as the G4 was. The only real advantage is a smaller footprint.

Surely buying a generic PC and looking at the large pile of money you save ftw? :D

    Yup lol
Geekbench figures are about as good as the equiv mac so what's the point in paying more for the same hardware? :-/ lol The only difference is that it comes in a nice shiny box/case lol
