I hope the actual game is a lot better then the demo because the demo has a really bad frame rate once you get moving, and the jumping only works consistently if you're standing still. Physics felt a bit off in general, and spin dash was so fast I felt like I needed to backtrack afterwords just to see how much of the level I skipped by using it.
My collectors edition came in today. Some idiot apparently had his way with a stanley knife or something. That's going back..not paying for a sliced up box.
No clue, but that's what the designers of the guy said. There's a Sonic issues of GameSide. It's in there.
Who needs a limited edition. I got the game FREE TODAY! And basically new. Gamestop trade in promotion I had $36 credit plus 50% since it was "used" (it was an opened new copy) I also got 2006 and Unleashed for shits and giggles.
Japan will get a nice collectors edition too! http://www.sonicstadium.org/2011/11/japan-sonic-generations-20th-anniversary-set-revealed/
While the most loyal fans in the US get jack and shit. By the way I'm already more than half way through the game. Dear Sega next time you give sonic his big comeback MAKE IT LONGER
Now they bloody anounce it after I've just bought the Asian version :banghead: hmm, Maybe I can still get one then sell this Asian copy?
It's nowhere near as impressive as the Euro version though, is it? A wedge of glass isn't anywhere near as nice as a 3D diorama, not by a long shot.
I got Generations to glitch out yesterday. It happens in planet wisp I got trapped on an island early in the stage.
I got a fantastic glitch yesterday too. I can't remember the area name but it's the stage with the massive clock on it. You have to jump in to the center then spin the clock's hands to midnight. Anyway, I jumped in to the center but fell through it. Then I get stuck down at the bottom of the stage, jumped about then all the platforms and bombs vanished. I could hear Sonic jumping and spinning but couldn't see him. I had to restart the stage from the beginning :dammit:
That's Rooftop Run You were right near the end of the level too. If I can beat Egg Dragoon all I have left is the final boss and some challenge levels. Anyone else think that Seaside Hill is THE MOST annoying stage in the game? It's like they want to remind you of how bad Sonic Heroes was.
Yeah, i just need the last key for the final boss now but still need to do many challenges after th 2nd world. I hate the challenges though. I am loving the 2D classic sonic levels. This is how Sonic should have entered the 3D world from the begining. I really do enjoy those levels. Yakumo
Some of the challenges are fun, Most of them are just annoying though. I prefer the modern levels though aside from Planet Wisp. Classic Sonic in Planet Wisp is fun ass hell.

Just played through this game, its amazing. The Sonic developers finally got everything right. This and Mario Land 3DS are really the must haves this winter to be honest. US stores are now selling this at a discounted rate which is a steal considering how good it is. I really hope they stick with this 2D and 3D style for the next game, it works so well.
