Childish behaviour by Tonk shows poorly upon his character and the weight of his words diminishes.

How can we expect to take you seriously when you make homosexual slurs?

Even if he was gay, it would be inappropriate and insulting to many members here
    who have a different lifestyle.

Tonk, I am disappointed and can no longer trust you as a moderator.

Can someone please verify that Metal Slug was released for the USA AES?

I'm still baffled why the report says "Metal Slug - Never released for home use. Reprint."

So according to SNK every USA AES copy was a reproduction cart. Many of which had sold for $1000-$2000 on eBay.

I know these can be easily made using a sacrifice SS3, FF3, KOF95,96,97 cart + cheap MS MVS cart, but I was under the impression that SNK did release a small amount of US Metal Slug AES carts.

You're probably the biggest reason for me to completely trust Dion, whatever he says.

    Everyone please slow down.

I'm only one man and I'm being asked tons of questions by a lot of different people, all at the same time!!

    I will answer all questions

I'm willing and trying my best to answer all questions, but when so many come in all at once, some questions get overlooked, and truthfully, it can be a bit overwhelming. And if I miss a question, people try to accuse me of avoiding it.

Try to put yourself in my shoes and for a moment and you'll see that it's just too many questions to reply to. Even the President of the United States will only answer one question at a time.

So please let me answer one person's questions before anyone else asks another. If people won't follow my request, your question will be skipped till it's asked in the proper sequence.

    Propers Q&A = less confusion

This is/was supposed to be a NGF History and SNK Bouy-out thread. I was willing to give exclusive insider information on all the deals that happened. And also provide an interesting Question & Answer thread that could bring out tons of information that people may want to know.

I don't want this to be questions, questions, questions, questions, answer, answer, answer, answer thread. Too many questions in a row, with too many answers in a row, will ruin the thread and make the reading to a specific question too confusing

So any questions previously asked will need to be asked again. But since I'm jusyt announcing my guidelines, I'll answer a few that have already been asked.

Kevin, maybe you can edit or delete some of the redundant questions that were asked in a row, and even delete some of my replies to help this thread's reading be more organized.

    Thanks.

You´re the disappointment here, siding with a know scammer, deleting posts from a member that helped the forum funding...

laser printed inserts of unreleased neo geo games is not worth all this trouble.

    No, yours do.

    You really fucked up big.

I trusted you and tried to help out any way I could, then you treat me like a fucking dog over an assumed gay joke?

lol, let the fucking scammer run free though.

Grandiose as ever, but without any truth or merit.

    Dakis Thief Neo Geo.

    Google it.

    Read it.

Anyone who listens to the words of a scammer has no more validity than the scammer himself.

    I'm not siding with anyone.

We have rules here, rules of conduct.

    1. We have an unmoderated thread for people to rant in.
    2. We have rules about flaming. If you disagree, do it once.
    3. We have a feedback forum, use it.

How I am siding with someone by upholding our rules of conduct?

You think I don't know how people feel?

We are interviewing him Q/A style. We are trying to get interesting points of view.

If you cannot see the benefit of a forum where each side gets to voice it's side,
    you don't need this forum.

You can disagree with people here many ways, however calling someone a "faggot"
or other immature terms causes the educated people here to instantly discard everything you say.

Disagree with dion, yes we can tell by the 40 posts the same three people have made over and over.

Let the Q/A progress as it should, but no, you insist on clogging up the thread with repeated repetitive posts about inserts, money, etc.

What is the court case number for your settlement with SNK?

It feels to me that the various ongoing threads have already been extensively sanitised in your favour, so this seems somewhat unnecessary. Personally, I'd request that no more posts get deleted unless they're directly inflammatory (e.g. TonK - for shame) or otherwise directly break the rules of the forum.

The title of this topic is "history and buyout" not "where the fuck are my inserts".

Yes. Probably about a handful of times.

    NeoGeo Dial Up Modem
As for seeing unique hardware/software items, nothing that I haven't mentioned before. One of the coolest things that I never knew existed was a neogeo modem (dial up modem). It plugged into an mvs and/or aes. MVS operators would be able to access their mvs cabinets to see totals, money count, etc... Chris actually has a manual for the neo modem. Totally wild!!

SNK also had some magnificent neogeo themed paintings.

    Arts
Yes, quite a lot. Hundreds and hundreds. For posters, flyers, magazines, etc...
Both Chris and myself own BRAND NEW/NEVER USED "NeoGeo Rental sign" with the "Bigger Baddee Better" logo.
I'll add photos. That sign is almost 20 years old and still pristine!! Super valuable and an extreme collectors item.

    PHOTO ADDED:
    Rent NeoGeo Window Display

A concept for their NeoCD. Originally planned as an expansion module to the AES, then later there was talk of the all in one unit, and then both projects were scrapped in favor of the self standing NeoCD unit.

It was with snk-japan. Mr. Miyajima. He was their big boss (not the owner, but the man in charge). He would always be at all the trade shows, even the ones in Vegas. We hung out together gambling, drinking, girl chasing many times. After playmore took over, he went to capcom.

SNK Big Wig gives sworn testimony in favor of NeoGeoFreak
Playmore used him as a witness for their frivolous case, and he testified in favor of NGF. He also gave a sworn deposition/testimony stating when he was in charge of snk-japan, they were full aware that we repackaged games and that snk-japan would provide us the digital art files. THANK GOD Japanese people have a sense of truth, honor, and loyalty.

    MO, Zip, Jazz ARTS
Yes, Yes, Yes, and I am willing to share!!
Only problems is most are on MO discs (you can see some MO discs on the zupapa faq). Neither Chris nor myself have an MO reader anymore. I also have files on Zip and Jazz cartridges (talk about obsolete, MO, zip, jazz) but I do have tons of negatives and positives. I'll post photos later tonight.

Yeah, the last office for the U.S. branch was in NJ. I spoke to Ben (Herman) when he was over there (he left SNKP when the decision was made to return to Cali). It definitely was not a distributer but the office in NJ was relatively small scale and set up just to get the job done here in the states cause lets be honest, not much was going on at that time (mid 2000's). Someone vistied them and posted pics a few years back.

No gay slur was made until after you humiliated me by saying you couldn't trust me - you were really reaching there.

Then your over sensitive gay member got offended by NOTHING.

This is your last chance to make this right.

Your obsession over thread views and reposting your pictures repeatedly is slightly disturbing. We're here to discuss things, not inflate our egos.

I think we're reaching the end of any productive questions as typical neo geo
    fanboy behaviour has set in.

We have TONS of original arts, hand drawings, rough and finished sketches, paintings, that were used in the original flyers, cover art, manuals, mooks, and neogeo freak magazines.

The reason chris says that is because it was all being thrown away when snk was closing down and also when neogeo freak magazine/guiben mooks was closing. But we left a lot behind.

We have so many. Check my arts album on this site. I already uploaded some. I have Metal Slug, Ninja Master's Real Bout, QP, Magical Drop, TSS, Samurai Shodown 3 and 4, Hyper SS, Beast Busters, and many more.

We even have the full size, original hand drawings, full color of Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad characters. All 4 characters. Chris has one team, I have the other. We both had them professionally framed. We also have the Gowcaizer secret characters original, fully colored hand drawn art (we have one each/professionally framed).
    As always, I'll upload photos.

Yes, neogeo freak (they went by NF). We met the staff when we cleared out the remaining stock of nf magazines.

Yes, I have photos. I'll add next week (I'm on my laptop)(all my photos are one my desktop)

I met most of the neo aes and mvs arcade distributors over the course of 10 years. EEI, Apple, Neo South, all of them. Most trade shows were in chicago and las vegas, and I live in both of those cities. I've been in Vegas since 1999.
