US Court records = 100% PROOF!! It can't be disputed. Verified. Sworn testimonies and records. Court orders. NGF wins. Proof is all there. I never said we were awarded $500 each. I said we offered to SELL playmore our web sites (neogeofreak.com and ngfusa.com) and all rights we had for $1,000,000us, and we would have relinquished any rights we had to art files, and repackaging. We wanted that one TOP of the settlement offer they awarded us not not counter-sue. Photo sharing Please post a photo of yourself mike. Do that for me. Pretty please even. You talk so much and so often, and make "friends" online. So please.... post a photo (a real one). I just HAVE to see what you look like as a person to understand why you are so obsessed with me. (i posted new photos of myself on this site. check my albums. I always show myself cause I have nothing to hide and nothing to be ashamed of. Click here to see recent photos
Asking for photos again? Man, it's the same shit over and over with you. You have no court records to post. Why didn't you bring up your car with Mikhail a year later when you went drinking at Red Square with him? You fucking liar.
Why can't you link up the court papers? We've been waiting on them since 2003. I'll wait. Why do you want pictures of other guys anyway? Oh yeah...
Given that you're the one claiming they exist it seems like it'd be your prerogative to link them. You've mentioned them over and over so it's certainly time to post them up.
Finding unreleased games We got them on AES and MVS just by people finding us and telling us they had some game with no insert and no information available about it anywhere (magazines/internet). The very first being Fun Fun Brothers. (that one changed hands quite a few times) Wow Kevin, I've never been asked that question. Let me think about that for a moment....(I LOVE this question!!!!) Earliest Neo encounter I think my earliest memory of the neogeo would be from reading about it video game magazine. I may have seen one in the arcades, but I wouldn't have noticed it because none of us would have a clue that a home system may have been in the works. I do remember mentioning it to some video game employees and manager at the store I used to buy my TurboGrafX/TurboDuo games from, and they all said the Neo would never be released and that is was vaporware. How wrong they were. Kevin, I'm still in awe on that question. Arcade experience I have no idea. I think I was always a fan of unique systems. When everyone had the 2600/5200 or Intellivision, I had the ColecoVision. When everyone had the Nintendo(NES) and Sega MasterSystem, I had the TurboGrafX. I guess I always preferred the systems that emphasized more on the arcade experience and offered more arcade/arcade type games. $$$$ Personally, not a whole lot. $30,000 over the course of 10 years, getting all games upon release. Business wise, a whole lot more. With purchases from the very beginning of becoming a reseller, wholesaler/distributor, to exclusive distributor, plus the $90k buy-out, it would have to be close to/or a little over $1,000,000. To be or not to be That's can be a bit damaging for me to answer. If I say I would never sell/I still play video games, people will call me a nerd. If I say I already sold out, people will question my passion. Kevin, those were the most unique questions I've ever been asked. You've made me really, really think. Thank you for asking such original and interesting questions.
You don't have copies of your own victory? No copies of your disposition? Nothing? For such a big lawsuit and victory, you have to have something?
That was found years ago. I agree that the people who dug up the initial court docs from the filing could find the rest. It would certainly make them not come off as one sided on the issue. However, what was posted may be from a saved link from when it was initialy found years back. If that is the case it may not be as easy for someone to find the rest. P did put up that retraction/statement that conceded to ngf having the rights. I remeber that vividly, everyone (who was around back then) should.
I'm going to make further unoriginal questions about the injunction off limits, this is a dead horse issue. Further questions Dion: Did you visit SNK Japan? If you did, did you see anything that has never surfaced (hardware, software) Do you own the trademark to the neo geo "bigger badder" logo? Do you own any of the advertisement art? What was the deal with the combo MVS / CD system (neo star or something of that name) What a was the last contact you had with SNK before their transformation to Playmore SNK. Did you have any contact with the SNK office in New Jersey? Do you have any high resolution source art (from cd or whatever media SNK used) that you can share with the site? I'm not asking for inserts, just any characters or backgrounds. Almost no high resolution SNK art is on the internet.
I'm glad you quoted my post as it seems I'm being deleted again. Can someone explain why? edit: this gets more ridiculous by the minute. What is going on here, Assembler? Why are you blocking legitimate, polite conversation?
Because it's belabored and been done many times,at many places. If you want to read a ton of the same posts go to NG.com and read all the posts about ngf. Ask something different. Ask something interesting like "Dion you ever do a line of coke off a neo cart box"
Dion, did you ever do a line of coke off a neo cart box? (In seriousness, thank you for not deleting that last post. I still think that if Dion wants to say he won the case then it's his responsibility to post proof, but I'll leave the issue there.)
Look if he'll give me the date of the settlement, or a court case number, or the district we can get it no problem.
Putting my concerns aside, here are my questions. Dion, what item, or items are you most fond of in your collection? Because you have touched on it in past posts, in your opinion, what would you say is the most difficult or rarest official game to collect out there? You seemed to have taken lots of pictures back then of many things, did you not take a picture of Warlock back then, too? Even when in the process of selling them? If yes, would you be able to share that picture? Did none of the people you sold it to not ask for one as well before buying, just in case? TIA
http://ngfusa.com/ninjamaster.htm My question is: how did you manage to find stuff like this ? Did you meet personnally the artists ? Or the society that used the arts for their publication ? Or bought from other collectors ? Also, why does Chris says "I know with almost 100% certainty, that if Dion or I do not have an original art for this mook, the art is probably been thrown away, destroyed, or with the original artist never to be seen again." ? Also, did you ever meet people from gamest magazine, neogeofreak magazine or pony canyon ? Have you ever seen, or even better, have pictures of a neo geo (and neo geo cd) store display unit ? I always thought it was weird that I've seen many hotel units but never a store display unit. Last question for today: did you ever meet the Guillemot brothers (or people from their company) at the time they were distributing neo geo ?
