He points out he's tempted to DESTROY it just to get people upset. What a douche, how stupid does he think people are? No dip switches = one big dip shit.

Kid that likes to ruffle people's feathers. Easy to tell. Best to ignore so he doesn't get what he wants.

    I do, LOL:clap:

And This is unusually immature for Snesorama. I've lurked there for years and had my fair share.

You know, how they arrived at over $7,000 - $17,000 for the NWC carts feels nothing but a publicity stunt. Why do I get the impression its just a group of resellers auctioning off those carts to other would be resellers and then going to the Press causing media hype. Now you've got folks and the Guiness Book of World Records buying into this shit. Just recently a guy by the name JJ Hendrix seem to have concocted a story about "his dream" of owning the Nintendo World Championship 1990 carts. He gave that story to the Press. Few months later, JJ kicks off this so-called charity event to try and auction off the very same gold NWC game "he always wanted" but failed to cross the threshold of over $17,000+

Seriously, why hasn't their been a thorough investigation on the seller and buyers of those NWC carts ??? And does all this fuck with the integrity of collecting video games ???

I dunno, its late and I thought i'd rant.

I thought Guiness Book of World Records is only interested into records.
NWC Gold cart isn't a record at all. Some other video games get sold for WAY more than $17000.

    Like??? (with some evidence...)

The reasoin why NWCGC is in the GBR is because there is documented evidence that it has sold for that... other games are more "Well on Yahoo japan auctions 5 years ago game X sold for Y20,000,000...." or "some Neo Geo owner says he bought a mint sealed Kizuna Encounter Euro Cart in a SNK box for 20,000 pounds", just don't cut it...

They list all sorts of gaming records including the so-called expensive video game.

No really? Not like they have been doing that the last 2 years... Any back on point, most of the records have to have some documentary evidence to prove it, although I am not sure how accurate the records will be this year.
