Hello! I was wondering if this is still able to purchase or where I might be able to get my hands on this! I recently picked up a Japanese Sega Saturn, and haven't taken it apart just yet to see what version it is, but I was doing some digging on this to try and find out what it is and where to purchase but the site didn't seem to lead me anywhere, so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be excellent! Hoping to get into the community a bit as a side-project/hobby.

    Cheers

If you google "Rhea Sega Saturn" it's the first result.

Apologies as this is the first thing I tried, I'm on the gdemu Wordpress website - and I'm not seeing anything with availability of ordering on there. Maybe I'm blind/overlooking something, unless there are no more units available - since you happen to know where it is, would you mind showing me / linking me on the website where I can do this? Much appreciated, I swear I've dug around the entire website and haven't come across it. I'm sure it's right in front of me.

You got to watch that WordPress for available units. It's kinda rare and it sells fast.

Gotcha! So there isn't like a current waitlist to sign up for or anything, just first come first serve I take it? All good - just trying to understand the process and be aware of it for the future. Do you happen to know how many units are usually made available per run (10s, 100s, etc)?

    Thanks!

Read the posts on the main blog. Like he just mentioned doing a Phoebe run next. So... you need to figure out what type of Saturn you have. (there's info on that site). Under the ordering tab are the order pages for the different products. If you click one you'll notice in red "preorders closed". When they're open that text will be gone and in place will be text blocks for entering your order details. Again, keep to date on the main blog posts on when this is going to happen.

You just watch and hurry when it's available. The size of his batches is unknown to me.
His email address will be visible on the order page with instructions to order when there are units available.

Also, DON'T harass the guy asking exact dates and numbers. He doesn't like it. Just stop by the main page every so often to keep up to date.

I was lucky enough to just get the new Rhea. Everything works and I can go from game to game by hitting the button on the Rhea board. But, I'd like to use the menu system RMenu. I'm having the hardest time with Rmenu -- initially, I got it to work, but then for some reason with only two or three games the entire 32GB file SD would be filled. That was odd -- so I started over and added more games but now when I start up the .exe file, nothing happens. And when it does work, it doesn't read the game. If anyone has any tips to share, thanks very much!

Make sure your SD card is formatted to FAT32 (I used 32kb clusters). I had problems running the menu builder from the SD card so an option is to set up a folder on your computer's hard drive exactly like you want the root of the sd card to look. Rmenu needs to be in folder 01, first game in folder 02, 2nd game in 03 etc.. Run the menu builder from the hard drive. Copy the contents over to the SD card. Everytime you add a new game folder, run Rmenu again, copy over 01 to the SD card to overwrite the old, and any new game folders. Make sure your rips are the supported formats (.cdi, mds/mdf, ccd/img/sub)

Your SD card root should look like:

01 (containing Rmenu.exe and the iso file that was built)
    02 (first game)
    03(2nd game)
    etc..
rhea.ini (recommended for at least auto region setting)

Another thing though, even though it supports (cdi, mds/mdf, ccd/img/sub) I have found cdi's more reliable and never use any other file format now.

Anyone know if a soft reset will be available at some point? I personally don't like turning off and on the console everytime I want to switch titles.

Converting the entire trurip collection will be a massive job, especially since converting to CDI is all manual. I have found though that a few games that don't work from the trurip collection have always worked when I source a CDI.

Would love being able to go back to menu with controller. Most needed feature and far overdue.

Also for anyone wanting to know, best way to get the games onto the SDCARD is to use the GDEMU SD CARD MAKER, works just the same for Rhea.

I'm not sure why you would want the entire library. There's a lot of garbage on there you're never going to play.

A good way to discover what is good and what is bad. Still, 1000 is hard to convert to CDi, so is 300, so is 100. Wasn't really my point.

I created scripts to convert the images.

Disc Juggler doesn't accept dos params, so I used autoit to control that program. here is the code I made up.

    $directory=$CmdLine[1];
    Local $iPID = Run("C:\Program Files (x86)\Padus\DiscJuggler\Cdj.exe Task1.cdj", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Padus\DiscJuggler", @SW_SHOWMAXIMIZED)
    Local $hWnd = WinWait("DiscJuggler - Task1.cdj", "", 10)
    Sleep(1000)
    ControlSetText($hWnd, "", "ComboBox2", $directory)
    Sleep(3000)
    ControlClick($hWnd, "", "Button1")
    Sleep(21000)
    ProcessClose($iPID)

So created a dos batch script, that that mounts the image into daemon tools lite. Then I run the above script in autoit.
