is it true that Skies of Arcadia 2 was finished to 40% and then got canned? was there ever an intention to port Daytona 2 to the Dreamcast?
Hey DonnyK! Thank you share us some informations! I do like to ask one thing about sega saturn: Sega have plans to release some capcom fighting games with 4MB support to USA? thank you^^
Are you aware of any hidden secrets in sega games that have never been discovered by the general public?
Look up wrestling shoot videos. Particuarly Jim Cornette. Its the same kind of thing just guys who have been in the business awhile talking about previous employers and old stories. Definately seems like a gap in the market to me!
Naomi 2 and some games began to be developed before the decision of abandoning the DC I think.. What was the plan? A Naomi2 upgrade to the dreamcast or washed-down ports of VF4 etc..? Thanks! ps: sorry about my english
Thanks! It seems to me that they decided to abandon the Dreamcast long before 2001... maybe early/mid 2000 after PS2 launch on Japan?
Q. Did Sega ever worry about/put much effort into thwarting Chinese copiers for the Sega Genesis the way Nintendo did for the SNES (SRAM checks, protection, etc)?
did you do any quality testing or testing at all on the CDX? if no do you have an impressions of the CDX?
Sure, if you were assigned a Sega CD game at the time you could test on a CDX. Best thing about CDX testing, you were exempt from 32X games!! Oh, and I loved my CDX. Got one from the employee store. Best system ever!
sweet thanks for the incite the CDX is my favorite system also wish i owned one kinda makes me wonder why sega just didn't make a wondermega/CDX in the first place i know they wanted to extend the consoles life but they did it the difficult way Ben Heck the xbox 360 laptop guy recently took apart a CDX to make what im dubbing a CDX-NOMAD it made me cry he could of just taken a model 2 genesis and model 2 sega CD and DIYed a CDX-NOMAD i can post a link to the vid if you like its on youtube also sorry to write a large post again PS again thank you for answering our questions
He's probably referring to the Virtua Fighter History/VF4 disc that was included with Shenmue II in Japan. I doubt the footage on that disc is of a DC version though, probably just the Naomi 2 version.
