Somehow I don't think this is just limited to PC gamers. There's lots of assholes on this planet regardless of what their preferred gaming system is, or even if they game at all. I just ignore that, let the haters hate. I got better things to do. I think we get kind of spoiled here with a very low ratio of assholes, them other parts of the web can get pretty nasty. I mean shit, just look at Youtube comments for almost any video.
There are assholes everywhere, on both sides of any issue. Go to ESPN or Bleacher Report and read the comments about the Patriots. Or MMAJunkie and read the comments about McGregor, Diaz, Lesnar, etc. The truth is most of these people are just too big of a pussy to say these things face to face in real life. Give them a semi-anonymous platform however and you get a real window into their souls.
console...pc...can't we just be friends together?..no?...ok.. buy yea I could only pretty much say what the others already said
Valve tried, but then they let third parties make the hardware I want one so bad. But ONLY this model
I have that controller, isn't it considered the Beta 200 or Beta 300 kit or something like that? Edit: Ah yes Chell,
I want that controller and system so bad you have no idea. But yes. US only for the testers, came in a huge crate (yes literal crate), and was limited to 300 people. I know Jackhead has some fun goodies for it. I would LOVE to get my hands on them (those controllers are perfect for me and probably only me)
Some of those Steam boxes look sexy I'd probably just end up modding one into an arcade super machine.
Hurt that box and i will find you. Also another point I'd like to make is pretty well described in this video.
Aren't those steamboxes little more than mini-itx case with PCI-E extender board to put the videocard 90° to what it's normally?
I dunno, all I know is with the right OS and Front End those fuckers could be chock full of Model 2 and 3 Sega Goodness.
I don't think a PI 3 can run Model 2 or Model 3 games. If they can I'm gonna need a bigger Micro SD Card.
I think you're right. I was under the (false) impression those were similar to Sega's consoles of the time, but I guess the emulation isn't that great.
What "right OS" do you need? Steam OS is basically Debian variant and it runs Model 3 emulator natively and Nebula M2 with wine at full speed without any problems, not to mention that it can also run windows. So there's nothing to "mod", just install a few emulators/frontends.
It can't - Model 2 emulator is x86(-64) only and runs only in windows or wine, for model3 emulator - theoretically it's possible to port and build for ARM but it requires a lot of CPU power (single core A64 is absolute minimum to run games at playable/full speed, also video emulation requires OpenGL 2.x, or 3.x, don't remember)
