It will not tell you what the original gamertag. Ve3tro's gamertag is most likely lost now.

For what it's worth, no one else seems to have mentioned this and when I brought it up to other people, they didn't know about it, but gamertags with spaces created around the 21173 recovery replace the spaces with underscores in the gamertag upon account creation.

@Ve3tro I suggest not doing what Element obviously PM'd you about -- that being gaining access to a VPN to allow him PN access/leaking him a recovery.

FYI guys, any solid Network Engineer will notice a VPN from the wrong area, and more than likely they are going to have their own whitelist filled with the local ISP ranges and if you try to connect outside of those it would get flagged. This all assumes that the studio in question will even have a VPN to the whitelisted range. Atleast that is what I would do anyway. All of this makes a VPN not likely.

Wow, now we can predict what other users share in Personal conversations? FYI I didn't asked him anything about VPNs nor did I begged for a recovery. Good day.

and i have question, GDN also supports developming for windows 8 phones?
I have kit of Windows Phone 8X and my question is about this.
Because on Windows Phone 8X i HAVE TO ADD microsoft proxy to connect. So maybe we can do this same with XDK console.

Just an update, I was strolling around and decided to Flash my Jasper XDK to 16154.0 - XDK: 21173.8 and Pnet is down for me as well I get the "Logon_SG_Service_Failed" error. Working with Nintendo on getting a Wii U dev kit for Unity3d 4.0. As of now I'm working on a Unity based game and porting it to XNA so that I can use my XDK and Jtag with RGL to test them out. My pops is pushing me to get some money rolling in since I only have a little over a year left before I finish college.

No. That's not how this type of whitelisting works. It's a whitelist of specific internet connections rather than account profiles. Unless you're connected to the internet at a registered game studio it's not going to let you in.

I'm not sure whether this is true or not but I read somewhere that not any GDNP account has the right to add IPs to the whitelist tool.

I'm assuming Microsoft already had most of the game studios IP address but released the tool so that the studios can add more IP's to there list if they needed too. Microsoft has a list of Game Studios that are official registered developers, I highly doubt a game studio will list an IP of a non-registered dev. Most companies that have a GDNP account should be able to list an IP and be PNet accessible within the hour. Some will need to check with their Microsoft Representative via E-Mail or Phone to verify their info.

I just jizzed. That looks like heaven for anyone who wants to know more about GDNP.

Just let the developers work their games out in piece. If you want developer leaks, hack into their servers and grab some files, it seems to be a more reliable option.

I checked on thier site monday and it still showed a 2011 copyright logo. As of right now the site is down showing an error, maybe they're updating it or changing the adress like they did from xds.

Found a way to get on PNet without whitelisting tool. Requires kv and static ip mods. I'll hit you up with it Kuji.
