Comcast recently had a speed increase. It's significantly faster than it was before.

6mbs down, 1/2mbs up is what my account is rated for. It sucks since it's the fastest I can get here with decent ping. I could do satellite but it's frickin' horrible for MMORPG with latency measured in a few seconds. Other option is 56k dialup. No cable, no fiber, nothing else.

Old router died, had to buy new one ASAP, was low on money, and now i'm getting this instead of 100Mbit/s :(
    [IMG]

And it will be like this for at least a month until i get new one.

P.S. Don't use zyxel nbg334w if you have more than 60Mbit/s.

I'd love to have that type of connection, my ISP has something similar 125Mbps Down/ 125Mbps Up but its pricey.

I'll bet! Looking forward to our National Broadband Network starting up here.
I think my ADSL2 line might just have to go in the bin.
Actually it looks like it might be active in my area right now... I should see if I can sign my life away! :topsy_turvy:

Edit: Dang! Not yet... October apparently... Even though I am in the switched on zone! Pfft!
Looks like our regular copper lines are switched off / removed 18 months after the NBN comes online - news to me!

Australian internet is just shit. I hope the NBN hurries up for a "lucky country" we get shit all really. Far behind the US.

Geez! Slow down angry pants! What's your internet cranking out at the moment?
I'm in no real rush, I would like more upload though for YouTube videos!

Mine was actually taken from work :p It's 200/200 here but the lines are pretty busy so they sit at about 100/100 average...At home I'm 100/10 with Charter
