Keep in mind that you'll need either a gigabit ethernet connector or an 802.11ac connection to make full use of that bandwidth.
This is my current speed on my 100Mbps connection Upload speed is fantastic but if this is what their 100Mbps connection is like with pretty much half of the city using it then their 1Gbps connection should be around 600Mbps download and 500Mbps upload I would have thought or better since there's only 200 users in the city contacted for the trial.
My Unlimited plan for 15 $ per month if i want i can recieve for 18 $ per month this: Common people wee are in 2014 ,lets talk about 500 meg connection or 1 Gbit or 2 Gbit connection not 1 meg or 20 meg
Well, my new 1GBPS connection was installed today but I can't find any speed test servers that can handle the speed. The best I could find inthis country was a base in Tokyo which came back with the following results. What's odd is it seems to think I live 50 miles away from Tokyo when it's actually a few hundred miles away. This server in China gave better download speeds but worse upload speeds Does anyone know of a server in the world that can handle fast speeds for testing.?
I just switched to a new ISP. It's not as fast as some of those other results, but it's still sooooo much better than what I had previously. It's actually cheaper, too. My previous ISP got around 12Mbps - it was painful.
Anybody want a good laugh? Check this out: Apparently it's due to "line optimisation" according to Sky. It's been like this since the 10th and will continue to be like this until the 24th. Safe to say I've cancelled my service and am moving to a new provider.
Yeah, looks like I'm not in a bad situation. I pay 50$ per month for internet and television together. I'm sorry for the poor guys in the USA.
AHAHAHAHA. You know what's really funny? I live in SYDNEY and I can't even get fucking television or radio signals here so I also have to shell out for pay-t.v. here too. So combined with my internet/phone bill (the phone line which will not work half the time, god forbid it rains and we have to literally open up the junction and pump the water out manually) costs anywhere between $450-$550 a month. Seriously. Streaming? What streaming? All I see is constant buffering.
