I'm also amazed at how well this game looks and it doesnt even use the expansion pack.

The multiplayer is what keeps the game going, rather than the single player. I enjoyed the cinematic scenes in the game. Rare did a stellar job with this one.

That sounds great! How common is the XMD-3? Would it work with a 32x?

all gone now mate but I did see another one of those pilgram games where you have to walk on that mat thing.

There was another on Yahoo japan Auctions last week so I guess they aren't super rare but not something you can find every day. I'm not too sure if they work on the 32X though. If the output on the 32X is the same as the Mega Drive 2 then yes it should work fine.

I've always been intrigued by that Henro/pilgrimage game. Just out of curiosity, how expensive is it?

I got that pilgrimage game new for 6800-ish yen, so it is new game expensive. I have no idea about the mat though. (i did see the game second hand for about 10000 yen once, so it can be a little expensive)

It seems kinda rare, but you will probably only play it once, I only like it because some of the temples are of sentimental value for me from nice days in the sun.

When it first came out, the game & pedometer box set was 12,800 yen & the walking 3 button controller was 6800 yen.

The 3 piece deluxe set (basically all of it in one big outer box) was a whopping 19,400 yen.

Out of it all, the 3 button ohenro controller is the hardest gamecube acessory to find. Due to its obscurity & price im curious just how many copies they made.

I did a mini feature on it. (think ill post it on here as well)

Personally i think its an amazing unique game, its like a virtual holiday. I love the old side of japan especially temples. Some of them are breathtakingly beautiful.

Saturn with two controllers but no leads
Sonic the Hedgehog (Not for Resale version) Complete (Also has a Sonic Spinball manual inside)
    Sonic 2 Complete
Madden '93 complete with poster insert. It's immaculate, looks like someone just took the shrink wrap off of it. Which is possible as it was at Goodwill and I have seen similar new items that are just missing the shrink wrap, but who knows.
NBA Showdown '94 sealed (The seal/shrink wrap is not perfect, but close to it, plus it has the "Tournament 4 Way Play Series" sticker on the shrink wrap itself, so it is an original not a re-seal)
Plus a Jessica Simpson holiday CD sealed (for some reason I have a "soft spot" for her...)
    All for $26.20 at Goodwill

Reboot for PS1 disc only $3 at Gamestop.

Now I just need to get the leads and a game for the Saturn! I've wanted one for a long time. It's nice to finally get one, and at a great price too.
On a side note, I only ever see the Not for Resale version of Sonic 1 for sale, I've never seen the normal version (except during the early 90's). Seems a little strange to me.

Oh, they also had a Genesis Sports pack nearly complete with box, inserts, and the never been used sports cusion. The only thing it was missing was the Joe Montana game. It was 14.99, but I decided to pass as I was already spending "enough" money, plus I already have a Genesis, plus it didn't have the game thus it wasn't complete.

After the TFT monitor dieing on me I bought a new 17" sexy one today for only 33'000 yen !! It has all the bells and whistles such as multi scan, HD compatible and digital inputs plus built in surround sound speakers. Picture quality kicks arse ! Very nice.

Here's the strange digital input it can accept. No idea what equipment has this type of output though. maybe HD DVD players? Of course it also takes the standard D-Sub input as well.

Nice screen and damn cheap as well. BTW I think that, that is a DVI connector you see them on new pcs and plasma tv etc. (For pure hd output.) In my house only my laptop has one.

Not from the place I bought it from since they only give 1 year money back guarantee and I bought it in November 2003 so...... Tomorrow I'll take it to Hard Off. I should be able to get a few 1000 yen for junk parts if lucky.

Thanks  Ah, so it's a DVI-D connector? I see. So if I buy a digital tuner or future digital video equipment such as High Definition recorders I should be able to use this connection for pure HD picture quality? Cool ! I wonder if the X360 has this option? Probably the PS3 will.

X360 (so far) will only output HD in Component and VGA - However with the announcement of the HD-DVD drive its possible that HDMI (which is basically DVI for video and Coax Digital audio, with a few control signals tossed in for good measure) Will magically become supported, As part of the HD-DVD and Blu-ray spec is that it will only output over a copy protected signal, which can only be achieved using DVI or HDMI.

Short answer - for now no, you can only use VGA( although you will be able to output all HD resolutions over this) but possibly in the future DVI will be supported

    EDIT:
got myself A Little stash at the shops this afternoon
Doom 3 Limited collectors tin, sealed + new for £10 - I had picked up the normal edition and taken it to the till and the bloke looked in the draw and could only find this one - for half the price! Is it worth keeping this one sealed?
    Metal Slug 4 Xbox £10
Oh, and a Tesco Value toaster
