I'm playing Shenmue 2 right now for the 4th time or so. Wonderful game ! Still finding new stuff even now. I hope you aren't playing the XBOX "Missing features" version :):

Shenmue's one of my favorite games and I've played through each version multiple times. What do you mean by "missing features" in the xbox version? I did know that a few tiny graphical background elements were missing/changed a bit in the conversion (ie: some textures, etc) as well as some of the capsule toys, but what else is missing aside from the passport disc?

Err, that's it really. I was just being picky. Sorry

Actually the PAL and Japanese versions of Dreamcast Shenmue II are actually different. For example Yuan is a woman in the Pal version of Dreamcast Shenmue II but in the Japanese one she is a he and smokes. In other words it's a transvestite. The subtitles don't even say what the charters say in the PAL dreamcast one. In one point Ryo say that the person they are looking for is a man that looks like a woman but the subtitles say that they are looking for a woman with a red top and zebra pants  Completely different. Also Yuan's voice is different in the PAL Dreamcast version. The Japanese one sounds... well..... gay.

    Both from Ebay...
    The motherboard was 25bucks...
Was labeled industry-motherboard.. but its standart-ATX (no backplane-monster with CPU-card) with AGP, PCI and 3x ISA, also a micro-PCI-slot on board

Oh, you're 100% right. That whole Yuan thing slipped my mind.
The other minor difference (might just be me) is that I find the QTE's somewhat "easier" on the DC version. As in the control seems just a tad more responsive particularly on that plank walking section over in the Ghost Hall building.

Friday the 13th wasn't a bad day for me :) Got a lovely box delivered today with a load of stuff, some of which was for my personal collection. Pictured below.

Boxed and mint Mega CD. Sadly the box has a few rips in it :(

Brand New Mega CD Save Cartridge

Brand New Thunder Force 4 but the bloody cover slipped out of the case and got all crushed at the bottom :( No worries though since it won't be too hard to replace.
