what i'm always asking myself when seeing you buying soooo many DC and SAT games is if there's a complete collection, i mean somebody who has them all, maybe you? ;)

hahaha, no, I don't own all the Saturn or DC games and probably never will because I can't bring myself to buy all those crappy dating sims or Chinese war sims or even the countless pachinko slot games. I could have easily came home with close to 100 titles today if I was after a complete set. The place I go to has some really odd Saturn games that I've never even heard of.

Yakumo - learn to love the dating sims! (some of the all time classics are on the DC) It is all about happy carefree stories with no worries at all. But seriously I have always wondered do you buy many games for other formats (ie PS2)? Or do you just play sega console games?

There are a couple of people over at Digital Press with complete US sets from both systems... I don't know anyone in the States with a complete Japanese collection (not to say no one does).

well i think having a complete US set is more "easy" than having a complete japanese set...well, that's just my opinion, correct me if i'm wrong ;)

Just bought Samurai Shodown V for Xbox.
Remarkably, SNK Playmore has included an English announcer, the Story Mode/Cut scenes in English (for the first time as the arcade version only had the cut scenes if you played it in Japanese region mode) and an arranged/original soundtrack option.
Good buy for $29.99...and this is coming from someone who has owned the arcade MVS cart since it was released 2 years ago.

Do you remember that Mega CD I bought a week or so ago? Well the laser is dead on it !! What a F*cking rip off ! That yahoo seller knew as well !! The soft sod confessed. Anyway, today a wonderful parcel arrived. Everything below set me back only 43 pounds after postage.

Brand New Mega Drive 2 (didn't really want this since I own 2 MD1 and 1 MD2 but it was part of the pack so....)

Brand New Mega CD 2 (free stereo AV cable thrown in :) )

9 mint and fully complete Mega CD games!!

Shining Force 1 and 2 both fully mint and complete for Mega Drive and another Mega CD RAM Cartridge also mint but the seller added the sticker to the cartridge.

This stuff sure makes up for being shafted by the other seller. I'll be selling the Mega CD RAM cartridge and a few of the Mega CD games since I have doubles of some of them.

Now thats very strange, because I also recently purchased a Mega CD1 JPN boxed in minty condition. Only thing is the laser isn't dead, its the actual cogs and what nots that control the laser and motor to rise up. The thing plays CD's fine, providing it has the cover off and I jab a pen in at a small point though  .

Anyways Yakumo, if you 100% know for sure its the laser thats broke on it, would you consider selling it? That way I might be able to salvage 1 working MCD1 out of it...

It's a good day for the N64 today! Got 5 memory cards (3rd party, but paid £1.11 each incl postage) Expansion pack and perfect dark - Amazingly enough haven't played perfect dark yet and decided I'd give it a go!

Ok, Famitsu capcom special. In short-

rubbish video of dead rising - it looks shite
Lots of other good videos of games
Okami demo is great, they have fixed all the slowdown from the TGS demo. There is a whole new zelda esque dungeon section. Graphics are hugely improved in places.
Onimusha demo, really good fun. Plays more like dynasty warriors than biohazard now. Cool boss in the demo and great fmv and graphics all round.

Wanda to kyouzou ost, awesome ost. If you have played the game I'm guessing you already have this.

Another copy of everyparty for a friends birthday.
Code age commanders, kingdom hearts looking rpg-thing. I dunno, looks ok.
Otokojuku, awesome anime fighter, with no female characters in it at all. Lots of men screaming and fist of the north star esque fights. Real quality stuff and very silly, if you love manga for real men, this needs to be obtained - regardless of gameplay value!

    Some cheap stuff.

Predator 2 for the Genesis, complete. Always wanted it just for nostalgia, but actually it's passable. Isometric arcade shooter, very simple, very short and it's artificially made longer because of the difficulty and the fact that you cannot use passwords after level 5 I think (there are 7 levels) It made me smile to see that inside the case with the cart there was a hand written note with level passwords.

Got "American McGee's Presents Scrapland" brand new for less than 3 dollars. The PC version of course, since bastards in the city I live never do liquidations or anytyhing like that for console games. Nice game so far, but it's not really McGee's game, but actually a game from a spaniard development house. Very nice designs, GTA/Platafform style gaming with space ships and all characters look like they belong in the CGI movie Robots.

Got a Genesis Game Genie, hoping that I could use it to connect the Power Base converter to the Genesis 2. Didn't work :( Genie does work, tough.

Also got free with the Game Genie a "Golf" game for the NES in a very good shape. The last time I played that game I was probably 7 years old and I can't remember how to play it heh.
