Also got tekken 5 today. Trying to expand my gaming horizons, first 3D fighters, then who knows? I might even import a copy of halo next. There be demons...

 

Couldn't resist...bought a Call of Duty 2 faceplate for my Xbox 360:

 

Got Virtua Fighter 3 tb and Crazy Taxi. I'm really liking both.

"Melty Blood React Final tuned Combo DVD No continue" utterly the best MB combo video I have ever seen. No system direction, no messing about. Just inventive, possible combos. Speaking as a virtual vet of the game it really made me think about some new ideas for combos. Also awesome glitch section on the DVD, all of which I had never seen before. Very much recommended, though it does not bother with your basic high level combos, only creative ones.

Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence first print - awesome package.

Digital Devil Saga 1 + 2 OST integral. Complete 4 disc ost plus lots of extras. Lots of brooding, powerful music to one of my favourite games of recent times.

 

Picked up a PS2 network adapter, a 120GB hard drive and a copy of HD Advance. The three items are completely unrelated... ;-)

Now I don't care if some people think it looks horrible. I happen to love it.

So glad I got one of those at last - got it brand new with all the extra stuff to boot. Hurrah! Also it was pretty much the same price you would pay for a brand new GB player with GC combo anyway.

It is odd, because these are so popular in Osaka, they actually cost more there second hand than I imported it for. Anyway its value to me is greatly increased as I support the tigers, just hope they come out tops again so that they release another hanshin console!

As for the console I think it looks the buisness. The circular plate on the top looks great in see thru to the logo behind. I just would have liked a more interesting controller, or maybe one done in the black and white colours and one in the old school yellow and black. However the black and white paint would probably rub off if they used it on the controller.

Anyway, I think it is a damn fine limited edition. If you come across one and don't want it sell it back to Osaka!

 

Got 'Tekken 3 Special' for Genesis/Megadrive. My second genesis pirate original, yay!

BOOOO!!! SoftBank Hawks Rule !! What's funny is that they won the last season or what ever you call it (can't stand baseball really) yet there were no Game Cubes made for them. I think there was a GBA SP though.

I am not the biggest baseball fan in the world. I like it but prefer all the drinking and fun with mates that goes with it. Anyway Hanshin only won the cental league to release this GC, which isn't even that impressive. They even had a parade in Osaka to celebrate!

A Rez 'white label' for the Dreamcast for £20 inc. P&P. Bought since it was cheaper than trying to get hold of a retail version of Rez (£30+).



Also bought a soldering kit and swapped out the orange LED on my Dreamcast for a blue one to match the PAL colour scheme. Looks v. nice

 

I know not a rare game or recent release etc etc but it cost me.....sealed....

A friend of mine has given me his ultra high-res projector for the weekend in a trade for my pop'n'controller. Quality stuff, got dodonpachi covering a solid 2 metres in yoko! Just smashed my highscore in maniac mode mushihime, wish I had brought my 360 to uni with me now - I'm sure it would look awesome.

It is gonna be damn hard to go back to my mini lcd after this...

EDIT - for the record, the screen shot is there to illustatrate the projector. I wish to make it clear that I would never usually die on this easy pattern - nor would I play with anything other than the default options! It was just hard to get a good picture, try playing mushihime on ultra, with an arcade stick in one hand and a camera in the other!

 

received my onHandPC. A nice computer watch with many applications and some nice games. I 've just installed a Mario and Tetris clone.

 

how much did ya pay m8? i remember those being damn expensive when they came out

 

Got some wonderful stuff today and best of all everything is 100% mint with spine cards etc.

NiGHTS box set. I used to own one of these when they originally came out but my dad threw away the box


A crap load of Saturn games here to boost that collection along. Oh and a very nice Thunder Force IV CD Single.
