Love at first sight -



This is the only game related present I got for my birthday (and I had to bloody order if for them!). The rest were DVD (the brilliant Peep Show series 1 included) and everything else was clothes and Vivienne Westwood related.

That Chaos Field includes the Telephone card and oddly the DC bonus OST, I have just ordered the GC exclusive OST so I should have the complete set of the great soundtrack before too long.

As for the game, I have played it a couple of times already and it is really good, while it does not seem the best shooter ever, it has some unique charm. Also, glad to see a shooter with some difficulty at long last. Most shooters seems to give you the first level for free - but this game can be challenging right off the bat if you go chaos at the first chance.

BTW I got the PS2 version as it has the most extras of the lot, even if some of the movie squences are not nearly as sharp as the DC version.

 

Finally a few more jpn ps1 games turned up today, added them to the wonderful parappa & um jammer lammy i already got last week (^_^)

I remember seeing a cooking style games, where you would run a restaurant. I think it was for the PS2. Saw it on a Gamespy article if i'm not mistaken. Too bad i can't remember the name of it.

As for prices i paid £15 each for parapper, umjammer lammy & pop'n music & £31 for ore no ryouri. I paid more because i wanted the 1st print version instead of the nasty psOne books version.

The game seems to be amazing fun.

Anyway, i asked about the price because it's getting more difficult to find JAP PS1 games down here. When i find, people want to rip me off.

 

Have you got the Yoshi no Cookie games too Importaku? ..... well, they have cookies and stuff in them ^_^

 

There is a special version of yoshi's cookie but its incredibly rare & expensive, it has the puzzle game as we all know & love but it also has a bit where you walk around a kitchen gathering ingredients & cooking things.

It was called: Yoshi no kurupon : Oven de cookie.

 

There was a Yoshi no Cookie: Kurupon Oven de Cookie that was on Yahoo Japan last week and it was brand new but I think it sold for alot of money. ^_^

 

Ooh id have loved to have seen that as i have never seen a real copy of it.

 

the other day got my copy of gunstar heroes treasure box, needless to say it is a must buy if you are a huge treasure fan and love alien soldier, gunstar, and dynamite headdy, i will possibly post a mini review of it, its got some nice extras and bits of options for display and such.
